We had a concert today. It went really well.
So the windows in my dorm building don't have screens on them. My roommate and I accidentally left our window open when we went to the concert. We came back and there were two of those mosquito-looking flies. It was scary. Luckily I had a flyswatter and was able to kill them, but now I'm paranoid that there are more of them hiding in here lol. Because the window was open for at least 5 or 6 hours.

Did they look like giant mosquitoes? If so they were probably what Texans like to call "skeeter-eaters" We had a discussion about this at an officer's meeting this other week
And just be glad you're allowed to open your windows- all the dorms on campus are forbidden to open their windows because it messes with the HVAC or something- but the apartments (whoo) are allowed.

^Yep, that's what they were. I know they don't hurt people, but they still scare me lol. First we tried shoo-ing them out the window, but that didn't work. Eventually one landed on a wall and I killed it, and the other one eventually laneded on a wall too and got smushed by the flyswatter lol. It was a funny sight. My roommate and I both had flyswatters and were waving them around saying, "No go that way. No, stop flying at the light. No! Go out the window!" Lol. And then when I was scooping up them after I swatted them, one of the flies was still moving around a little and I said, "Hey, stop moving, you're supposed to be dead." Lol.

I just got back from my Calculus final. I think I got a B on it. There was one question that completely stumped me. I was pretty sure about 90% of the questions, though.
I have no exams tomorrow. Wednesday I have Brit Lit and Music Appreciation, both of which will be easy. Thursday I have Biology (which I literally have to get less than 5 questions right on the final to have an A in the class), and I move out Thursday at 3 PM.

So, today is my last day of classes as an undergraduate. It's slightly terrifying.

So, today is my last day of classes as an undergraduate. It's slightly terrifying. I'm right there with you. I'm finishing up my student teaching now, graduate on May 16th. Just 11 days away!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! Now the fun part of actually getting a music teaching job somewhere...

^Congrats to you, too! I-L-L.......! (most of my family is from Southern IL, we like the Illini)
So I basically got permission from my Biology teacher to skip my final exam. I have an A in the class without it. Yay!

^Cool! Yeah I have to take Calc 3 also, but it didn't quite fit in my schedule for this fall, so I'm going to take it in the spring. Hopefully waiting a semester between Calc 2 and Calc 3 won't hurt me.
