^come to kansas and you're almost guaranteed a job i'm secondary history, and my intro to ed prof is always plugging math and science, especially middle school. i can't do calculus to save my life, so i plan on avoiding math like the plague.

Another thing I like about college is, if your teacher is sick, you usually don't have class. If your teacher is sick in HS, you are still required to go to class and most likely do nothing that day. We were sitting in my Calculus class today and our professor is never late, so it was 5 minutes past time that class is supposed to start and then his wife came in (she is also a professor here) and said, "Dr. Narimetla's class is cancelled today, he's sick." So we left. Yay!

Last fall when my english prof was out of town for a conference she tried to get a sub (for an 8am class!) So 6 of us dragged ourselves there only for the sub not to show up at all- needless to say we were a little peeved.

yeah, my english professor last semester came at the beginning of class one day, gave us work to do, and then went home because she was sick. i think we stayed maybe half an hour in case someone came to check on us. no one did, so we left. my sociology professor had us watch a youtube video of last semester's lecture today because he had to go to come conference. it was nice because he just gave us the links to watch on our own, so i did it last night and slept through the usual lecture time today

Buhhhh I'm so ready for Spring Break.
I had my Brit Lit midterm yesterday, a Calculus test tomorrow, my Biology Lab midterm Thursday, and Biology Lecture test on Friday.... I want this week to hurry up and be done!

^I bombed my Brit Lit Midterm exam but aced my midterm paper.... Now I have a terrifying Museum (Grad level class) midterm tomorrow where I essentially have to write 9 pages and who never found time to do the readings?

^Good luck with your tests Greene..... They sound way harder than mine.
I got an 86 on my Brit Lit midterm. Calculus test today was OK. It was 5 questions and I was 99% sure on 3 of them, about 80% sure on the second one, but the first question I didn't know how to do... Oh well I've gotten A's on the rest of his tests so far, so I'm not worried.
My friend told me the Bio Lab midterm was extremely easy and that she finished in 15 minutes.
Bio Lecture test should be easy too. The last one was. It's all mostly definitions and stuff.

^Feel better soon I'm starting to feel better. Not 100% though. I'm probably at 85-90% right now. I got my dad sick though

I'm feeling mostly better, just a little stuffed up, but he came down with a fever last night.
It's interesting how differently it's effecting us. I got very sick Sunday (stomach emptying sick) then steadily got better but then he caught it Monday and got worse with the fever last night. This might have to do with my being able to sleep more (he's working 7-5 this week to make up for not working this upcoming Friday.)

Sorry to hear you guys were/are both pretty sick I'm finally almost all the way better .... Still coughing a little but I can breathe through my nose again, and my coughs are less phlegmy..... Lol. So I'm trying to find a roommate for next year. My school requires freshmen AND sophomores to live on campus (which is really stupid but whatever). There's also a "room renewal" thing that we can do starting March 23. Basically, if you want to keep the room you are already in, you do that. I REALLY want to keep the room I'm already in. Mostly because it's in one of the good/new dorms. The other good/new dorm is still being built but will be open by the time Fall '10 classes start in August. All the other dorms are... Old. And gross IMO, and REALLY SMALL. Livable, yes. Enjoyable living experience? Probably not for me. But they are for some people. ANYWAYS all that to say, there's an online housing application thing and you can browse for a roommate and stuff, and a girl requested me as a roommate, and I sent her a message asking if she'd like to live in the dorm I am currently in (my current roomie won't be able to afford this dorm next semester - it's twice the price of the old dorms, but it's also twice the size and each room has its own bathroom...), because I plan on staying up the night of March 22, and the second it turns midnight, I'm going to that website and hitting the room renewal button, because only the first 170 people get to keep their rooms. So anyways I find this girl on Facebook and I was kinda browsing her profile because her privacy settings aren't set so that they completely block me, so I can still see her pictures and stuff, and I notice that, well, not to offend anyone, this is just my opinion, that she has certain, well, preferences/tendencies (if you catch my drift) that I do not agree with. But everything else on the "roommate profile" thing pretty much seems like we would get along. Just that one issue in the way.... I mean, I guess I could risk being put with some random person, but my boyfriend did that this year and he got put with somebody who was horrible.... Wow, this was a really long post. My bad
