I've just gotta get through the rest of this semester and not utterly fail every class. But I'm excited for those two classes

I got to watch Lord of the Rings with my Brit Lit class today for extra credit. Some people had never seen it before. We watched the first one, and at the end, one girl who had never seen it said, "That's how it ends?!?!?!" And the whole class was like, "There's two more movies." Lol.

Maybe?
I read the 1st LOTR book in 8th grade, and it took me like 2 months to read it lol. I haven't read any of the other book.

You really should, I personally think Return of the King was the best of the 3 (4 if you count The Hobbit) When Fellowship came out in theatres (oh goodness, I was in 6th? grade then) I got the set of 4 (LotR+Hobbit) for Christmas and finished them in a week so I could have read them before seeing even one movie (I was weird, well still am, but I don't have the time or attention span for it now)

Woops my post above should've said books, not book. Lol.
But yeah I've thought about reading them. My brother went through a LOTR phase a few months ago, and he got all 3 books, I think. Maybe I'll read them over the summer.

I found out that as long as I get my classes for the next three semesters, I can graduate in Dec of 2011 instead of May 2012!

nice! i just registered for next semester. i'm taking:
English 102 Math 105 (second level slacker math for those of use who are afraid of calc) Geography 104/105 (physical geography lecture and lab) Coms 130 (public speaking) Band and Colorguard Sectional
That comes out to 15 credits. I was hoping to fit in Bio 102 (intro lab) since it's the last class i need to apply to the school of education, but every section is full. i'm probably going to wait out the summer and see if any space opens up as kids drop and switch around.

Some jerk pulled the fire alarm. This happened one other time, the first night we were here. I just love being woken up at 2 AM by screeching alarms, being all disoriented (it took me a few seconds to realize what was going on), locked my shoes and my keys in my room.... And then we stood outside for 10-15 minutes waiting on the fire department to show up... The dorm gets fined every time a false alarm is pulled, obviously, and apparently if it happens again and they don't know who did it, then they split the fine between everyone in the dorm. I'm going back to sleep now...
