^ I will pray for you. Last week, an English teacher who helped out with the school plays died. She wasn't too old, and it was something with her breathing in the middle of the night. The funeral was today, and there were no English teachers at school. I didn't know her personally, but please keep in mind her students, family, and friends please.

I have a couple of things to ask...
Please pray for a kid at my school. He was in a car crash last night and we haven't yet heard word of his condition. I don't know him personally, but a lot of people are pretty upset. Just...please pray for him, his family, and for him to be OK.
Also, please pray for the safety of our troops over in Iraq (and anywhere else too) and for their safe return. I know a lot of you probably are against this war and stuff, but my cousin is over in Iraq for a whole year and I really really really (really times infinity) want him to come home safely...as well as the other people over there.
I'll pray for you guys too.

I do have one small thing that I would appreciate some prayers for...
I'm getting opinion #4 for my knees on Tuesday. And my rheumatologist is having problems getting my MRI scheduled in May moved to a sooner date... and I need to know what's wrong so 1.) I can have the pain go away and 2.) so my bd knows bc of leadership positions and some instrumentation in next year's show.

Just pray for my hometown of Oswego, IL. It's been a rough year, there was a massive accident where 5 kids got killed, and I just heard that a guy I knew committed suicide.

Prayers would be appreciated for the recovery of a boy that goes to my school (I don't know him). I don't know the entire story, but apparently something happened this weekend, and he was in a coma. I heard that yesterday he came out of the coma and opened his eyes a little bit, and is starting to recover. So, prayers would be appreciated for his continued recovery.

Over the weekend, a clarinet player and a percussionists house burned down, destroying everything. Luckily, they survived. Prayers are needed for them

^I am so sorry to hear that. I will keep him in my prayers.
I have a prayer to ask of you.
My friend, a bass clarinetist, just learned that her dad has cancer. It came as a shock--he'd had pains in his side, but he hadn't thought it could be as bad as cancer. I feel so awful for her; she likes to be helpful, so she was kind of moping in one of the practice rooms this morning so I asked her to help me move around some percussion equipment, but I didn't even know she had a reason to be left alone. She's trying to be optimistic about it, but she already told me that if her dad isn't cured by July 1st (the day we leave for Boston and the Bristol RI 4th of July parade), she won't be joining us. As if all of that isn't bad enough, I'm not sure if she'd be able to get a refund, and if her dad is going through chemo, they're going to need money.
**************************************************************************
So, please, everyone. Prayer for her father and her family. It would mean the world to them.

Kind of a stupid thing to ask y'all to pray for i guess, but can you please pray for our "miniband camp" this week? i'm hoping we get a lot more newbies than we realize and that the leadership roles dont get all out of sorts. i'm thinking the student leaders this yr are going to be either at each others throats most of the time or chillin like the cool cats we are...haha.

^ It's not a stupid thing. It's actually great that you're hoping that your band will grow and hopefully get along better.
My brother is leaving for boot camp next Sunday. I ask for you guys to pray for his safety since he's going to be in the Marines and he's going in for aircraft ordinance, so he's pretty much guaranteed to go to the Middle East by next year.
