Saturday I move halfway across the state for 8 weeks or so... I know this wouldn't happen if it wasn't meant to and there is some purpose but... I'm still nervous, terrified might be a better word.

I'm working at a summer camp totally different from the one I grew up with (one reason I'm so worried.) it's differences like rustic vrs dorms, Christian vrs secular, affordable vrs exclusive, length of sessions, not knowing any one, etc. I leave tomorrow, taking the train home every other week or so, and then come home finally the Saturday before band camp, the first full week of August.

My mom's best friend, Rebecca, went into the hospital last night. I don't know why, and I don't know her condition, but keep her in your thoughts. She's really the only friend my mom has anymore that she talks to all the time. And she's also the mom of my brother's best friend. So yeah.

I feel guilty posting on here, since I don't pray anymore (I changed my religion)...but for those of you who do pray, could you keep my band director in mind? He was recently diagnosed with Stage III colo-rectal cancer. He's in a very good cancer hospital down in Houston, and he's young and strong, so hopefully he should be fine. But still, prayers would be greatly appreciated.

He has cancer. I don't know if my friend would get mad if I got into specifics, so I'll leave it at that. Just think of him this week, everyone. It would mean a lot to their family.

I really feel like I don't fit in at my job at this camp, I'm labled as something that could be considered a compliment in different company and it makes me feel like a fraud.

I will keep all of u guys in my prayers.
My grandma is in the hospital and they thought she was going to need surgery, but right now, she is puling through, but there was something a wrong with her stomach (more like her intestines), but they have her on liquidy stuff for now, so we r not too sure as to what is going on.
My mother is having cataract surgery on her right eye, on the fifth. (they already did surgery on her left eye) but, we r both hoping that she will be okies with her health issues.

I will try to keep everyone of you guys and your families/friends in my thoughts and prayers.
I promised to update (or if I didn't, I am anyway), so here goes.
My friend's dad-- the one who had cancer and surgery-- is doing just fine. They removed the cancerous tissue and expect him to make a full recovery. Thanks for all your kind thoughts and prayers.

I just found out the my choir director's wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This is something normally really foreign to me, I'm not sure how to react, so I'm going to you guys. Please keep her in your prayers.

A close friend's grandfather has been diagnosed with the same form of skin cancer that my grandfather died from. Earier this year he was in the hospital get some other lesions on his colon(?) off and I think another tumour (skin cancer again, though benign.) I really want to support my friend but we're both really private people and I'm not sure what to do. Please keep him and his family in your prayers
