I'll pray for you.
I want to request prayers please for my cousin and that she continues in her progress of developing her memory and vocabulary.*
*Info on that: My cousin, Emily, had problems when she was little, from ear infections to sezuires. She had something that affected her learned in to talk. She just in the past few years stopped using baby talk (she's like 7 or maybe almost 8). Her vocabuarly is VERY much improved, along with her memory. She still has no clue who I am though. This past time I saw her, she called me "that girl". It makes me sad, but I think she'll get better, whatever may be wrong.

Just a question, does this fall under religious posts or not? Note to all, I'm not an atheist, I'm a devout [insert religion here, I'm not posting it as it in itself could lead to argument and proselytising] I just would prefer that this be a religion free board.
On to another topic, Babette, I will remember your cousin in my prayers.

I don't think that the spirit of this post involves any particular religion, and is more a general support sort of thing. As it was on the old boards, I'm inclined to leave it, pending Amy's approval.

A prayer circle thread never caused problems on the old board. The No Religious thread pertains more to discussion of religion (that always fell into heated arguments).

As some of you might know, I plan to study in England next spring. BUT I haven't yet told my parents. This is because I had changed my mind...but recently changed it again. Anyway, the deadline for applications is JULY 15TH!!! Soo...I have to tell my parents...like tomorrow. Please pray that I'll be brave enough to talk to them!

My sister rushed into marriage a year ago, now she has a new born baby and her husband's joining the marine's and essentially leaving her. Pray for her, divorce isn't allowed in my religion so she's stuck.

As I stated previously, this thread is for prayer requests, not for the discussion of prayer itself. Thank you for your understanding.

My friend's dad went to the hospital today, she said he has gul stones and was supposed to find out when he was getting surgery today but something happened i'm not sure what but she says the doctors say that he's too weak to have it now. so if you could pray for him it would be great, and also for her, her mom's with her dad so she's taking care of her two sisters and having a hard time

Please pray for my test results. I had an ultrasound and blood work today and I still have to have a catscan and see another specialist. None of the possible results can be good, so we're very worried. There's a good chance I have to have surgery which will lay me up for at least a week, and I just can't swing that much lay up time, not with how my summer is going. Or else I have to go on a pill that will make incredibly unbearable to be around.

I feel guilty because I seem to have really shallow prayer requests compared to everyone else. Well, besides talking to my parents, I will also need to raise a lot of money to go to England. I'm going to have to fundraise $1,700 and work to pay off $700 airline tickets. So, please keep this in your prayers. I know this may not seem very important, but it means so much to me. And it means a lot that there are people who will pray for me!
I've also been praying for everyone else...are there any updates?
