^ wow. praying for all of those. keep us posted on the mother with the ruptured arteries! was the baby healthy?
my family is going to disney this weekend, they're driving down. if you could pray for a safe trip to and from, along with a safe time down there, i would be grateful. then on the 15th the marching band is going down. if you could do the same, i'd be happy. i'm kinda nervous, because its a 15 hr bus trip and i've never had to sit still that long.

moe: I'm not really sure... our BD said when he told us what had happened that they found out around Thanksgiving that the baby was having distress problems, and about a month later it died... So sad...

One of my best friends, my old section leader, joined the air force last fall, and another person I really care about is planning to as well. (rather not give details)

There's a lot of law out my boyfriend's right now... so he's stuck in town ... and we're all pretty worried for his family.

Keep my priest in your thoughts...not long ago his appendix burst, and he came close to dying. They said he should recover fully, but your prayers would be appreciated.
And moe: as far as I know, yes, the baby was fine. I haven't heard any news recently about the mother, so I assume she's recovering well.

My boyfriend and his family are on a short-term missions trip and though they're in a relatively safe place, please just keep them in your prayers.
Also for wisdom in how to deal with a particularly sensitive issue which has left me quite perplexed.

Eight people from Enterprise High School in Alabama died when a tornado destroyed parts of their school. Apparently, they were walking through the hall when the building collapsed on them. I don't know many people that go there, but it is pretty bad.

^I heard about that. That is so sad. I feel just... awful. I mean, it's not like any of us could have done anything....
Let us pray for their families.

My friend's mom died a couple of weeks ago, and another one of my friends is in rehabilitation camp for 2 weeks because he tried to commit suicide. Please keep them in your prayers.

I'm sure you guys have heard about this, but there was that bus that fell over the side of a ramp/bridge and six people died. I think it was a bus full of baseball players from a college in Georgia or something. So, just pray for the familes of all of the kids as well as the kids who survived, because it sounds like a lot of them are hurt. It's just one of those things kind of like the tornado thing above...praying is about all we can do to help...and that's a pretty good gift...and I think these kids and families need that right about now.
Also, my friend that I mentioned in an earlier post is still have troubles. She kind of hates life right now, and she's on thin ice with her best friend...and I'm just...I'm just afraid she'll do something she'll regret. So if you could please pray for her...I'd be eternally thankful.
I'll pray for you guys too :-D

Well a Praise and Request (two really)
The one is two-fold. I blacked out today during 1st Block so I was sent home. We have no clue what it was... I didn't black out in terms of all senses but only in vision.. and most motor skills (especially fine). But now I feel alright... so yea... that's two fold. I'm feeling alright, but we don't know what it was or what brought it on. I felt fine right up until it happened.
Also I have to speak to our local Rotary Club tomorrow about Close Up (a gov't study program I went on.) I have no idea what to speak on. There was an event that week that majorly affected me but because it's a sensitive topic and rather personal. I'd love to speak about it, but I don't think this is the right group to speak to about it, but I don't know if I'll have the chance. I just need wisdom to know what to say and if I should talk about it. Also for comfort and strength, public speaking is not always my strong point.

Last year, my friend's friend died...apparently he was cutting himself, and he took it too far and bled to death. I just now found out about it, but prayers would still be appreciated.
