A bug flew in a clarinet's eye and bit it at band camp. It swelled up and they flushed it like crazy, stuffed her with Clariten, and made her take a nap. The bug finally left. I felt awful for her.

Last year our mb show was titled Hansel and Gretel and 1 of our props was trees for a forest and one day I was helping my dm set one of the trees up and as we were walking away that tree fell on top of me and scratched up my arm and now I have a scar.
Another time I was helping put away the back drops that we had for a show a few years ago and my leg got stuck between the back drop and the thing we have to bring the pit instruments onto the field and my leg started bleeding. Nothing to bad has happened at band. Yet. lol

Another time at one of the football games we were marching our show and one of the colorguard hit a mellophone player with her flag and her mouth started bleeding and she got blood all in her mouth piece.

Okay. This is not really an injury but it was pretty funny. Our show was Hansel and Gretel. We made a gingerbread house and Gretel and I were checking it out, helping get it all set up. Well after all the ties were done to tie the roof down we were checking out the front of the house. We were joking around acting like we were eating candy that was painted on the house. That was when the wind picked up. We were facing the field watching everyone else on a set they were working on when all of a sudden, the house falls ontop of Gretel and I. We both get wacked in the head by the edge of the house and pretty much fall to the ground because the rest of our house is taking us down. Finally the band parents and our band director get the house off of us. I go to ask Gretel if she is alright and she is just laughing. Her laugh is hilarious and I start laughing. It was pretty funny. I can see the headlines now: HANSEL AND GRETEL:DEATH BY GINGERBREAD HOUSE!
There was one time. It was the 2007 show, Superstition. I was hurt at the time so I was sitting in a chair by the pit. It was a cold and long practice and my band director said that if we do good on this run through then we can quit early. I am thinking, Okay. We can do this. It gets to the middle of the second song when all of a sudden I see my band director jump from off the bleachers to like a 20 foot drop below, almost falling on his face. I am here thinking. We could not have done that bad. I would have figured he was going to start running and screaming, but instead he runs to the middle of the field. I turn around and I see out soloist trumpet player lying on the ground and my band director kneeing over top of him. That moment in time went by really slow. Everyone on the front half of the field had no idea what was going on. We all thought he just collapsed or something scary like that. I see a guard girl crying and trying not to think of the worst but you can only think about the worst in these situations. I finally see my bd grab his hand and he stands up. Thank goodness he is alright. A guard just hit him in his trumpet with her flag and the trupmet went back into his mouth all the way and just caught him off balance. Every thing is good now. He has graduated and she is now the guard captain.
