But I've decided that frat parties (at least at my school) pretty much suck. It's an excuse to get drunk and fall off staircases. I'm pretty sure that's just about universal.

^Definitely the case for almost any college party, I've already resolved to avoid most KPsi-boy sponsored parties unless its my closer guy friends (most of whom are rushing), I've heard stories about what happens at those, and seen pictures. Thankfully most stair cases here are short and have railings. It's the ceiling fans here people have to watch out for. Most of my acquaintances here have already heard my tirade about alcohol so they know not to ask me to drink, or be around it (though I was tempted to tag along with Swing Boy when he went to a bar in his Halloween costume- he was the preppy girl from the Breakfast Club, and very good at it too, he makes a pretty girl.)

So, if it's an officially fraternity sponsored event, and they have alcohol, they're Doing It Wrong. (Although, it varies from chapter to chapter- my chapter is extremely strict about this rule, and discourages even talking about partying during official chapter events. Your mileage may vary)

Everyone's sure to take off any letters before being around alcohol but many still drink and all that do seem to party together. Thankfully there are some who do avoid that scene as well.

I've been to a lot of parties that I know are thrown by guys in KKY, but it is not "sponsored" by KKY. It's just a coincidence. People are crazy about making sure that there is a distinction between stuff like that.
Nothing that is "officially associated"with any school program has to be dry. But people use the programs to invite people to their parties.

and we've all shaped up to be respectable citizens. Except for Greenepony. Who knows what trouble she gets into at Baylor. (my apologies for making fun of you Greenepony. You were an obvious fall-guy since I consider you one of the least likely people to get into trouble in college.)

^Hahaha, yeah... trouble... how are we defining that? Really, I've behaved, mostly. Well, better than the stereotypical college student, and most Collins girls (my dorm has a certain... reputation of being quite... easy.)

haha, then you wouldn't be surprised to learn that trojancondoms.com ranks Baylor 134th on the sexual heath/ sexual heath resources scale. Out of 139. Watch out. I was browsing the website today. haha.
i'm not surprised...
Trouble... thats defined as gross amount of swing dancing right? The higher, the more troublesome. *snicker* I couldn't resist. My apologies.

Mhmm, lots of dancing! And not just swing, but also blues and two-step!
Baylor has its own problems when it comes to "inappropriate relations" as it's referred to here. So many articles have appeared in The Rope and The Lariat (Noze Brothers and official Baylor newspaper respectively) because of it and our philosophies on dealing with the results.

I'm envious. I wish I could dance stuff like that. Instead, I'm learning to break dance.
I see... again, I'm not surprised. Just like I'm not surprised about the sheer amount of drinking that students at JMU do. yes, all colleges have "drinking problems" but you can get alcohol pretty much any day of the week, in mass quantities. With little more effort then showing up at someones apartment party. Big shock for me when I showed up to campus. Seems that every college has its problems. That shows up in our school news papers a lot.
