I think every guy I've ever had a crush on has been in band. I don't think I could date someone who wasn't because they wouldn't understand the commitment that band is. My current band crush is my drum major. ;D

Boys not in band are not worthy. Obviously, it's no wonder I'm not in a relationship.
Also, saxophone players are the cutest. Last year it was an alto sax player with puppydog eyes and long hair, then he cut his hair and started going out with one of friends, so obviously that was a bust. For the rest of that year and this year, it's been a tenor sax player in the other band. *licks lips* Yum.

I've got a crush on every girl in band but i REALLY like the percushionists. They're the coolest most awesome people around and their really nice. All my friends in band think their sorta ugly but i really don't see how anybody could see something i dont, especially since i've tried every other way of looking at somebody possible what are yowls tips.

hmm... I just date guys that I get along fine with and I sooner or later find out that they've been in band (or already know but the quit cuz of the bd changes) and so... if a guy likes music and it's a hobby it's fine with me, but if it's his life like it is mine that's great too! my current bf use to play alto sax in high school so it's cool i think.

How could you not like someone in band? it's completely inevitable. Although i do like people outside of band ocassionaly, i've liked way more guys in band. it doesn't hurt that you see them alot, so you reallly get to know them.

here's my thing about dating people in the band and anyone else I know in my area.... most of them do drugs or drink and sleep with more then one person at a time and cheat... I don't like that, don't need that, that's why I go away from here and be myself and find people, it's very difficult for me to act myself around here because I have a rep of being a perfect angel that everyone wants to be... yeah.... right I'm free spirited just people don't know it, except for a very selected few

The one I like is only in our pre game show... and she isn't in our main marching band, so I barely get to see her.

Hmm I couldn't see dating anyone outside of band. The only problem is there's only maybe one or two guys I'd consider dating..but I'm not going there. I'll wait to college. But I have had my fair share of crushes...can't deny it

Not only have most of my crushes been on guys in band, but they've all been percussionists! Unfortunately, none of them have worked out b/c the guy was either already taken, too old (2 or more grades above me), or only liked me as a friend, if that. And the non-band crushes didn't work out either, even though one came very close (which only makes me sadder now that that chance is gone :bigcry: ).

Having crushes in band is a love/hate thing for me. I love getting to see them everyday and talking to them, but I hate having this feeling of jealousy and the pain when they might go out with someone else.

I couldn't imagine dating someone not in band, because they just "don't get it", ya know? And yeah, when you break up with someone and have to see them all the time in band, it's really hard, but my experience has been that with time you become friends again, or at very least are able to be civil with each other, because you really have no choice. So in that way, I see it as a very good thing. Also, I find that in band, at least around here, age means absolutely nothing. Like, no one cares if you date someone that's two years older than you or whatever, because in band, everyone's equal (aside from a bit of froshing, we don't really make a deal of seniority). Also, saxophone players are the cutest. I would have to agree with that statement, but I've liked a trombone freak for a while

I find that any relationship that you have with anyone that you have to be around a lot against your own will at this stage in life tends to turn out pretty bad.
