That's me, in the GREEN! I look like such a dork. The background is so awesome, though. We should go steal it.

I was at that competition I was there I was there! Lol we already had a PM about this but I felt like saying it again. You guys only have about 26 I counted? Excluding staff/drum major/colorguard. Wow. This is us last year at a competition: www.bandorders.com/view_user_photo.asp?PID=&EVENTID=6381&PWD=&ID=11083209&FROM=browser&START=1&SHOW=36&CAT=29780&SUB=0We're roughly the same, maybe a little less, with 3 drum majors, and the drill team (like an extra dance-ish thing after school) performs with us now. THEY'RE SO AWESOME I LOVE THEM THEY JUST ADD SO MUCH TO THE SHOW. *sarcasm* I can't stand them arrrgh. But yeah, more pics coming soon.

photobucket.com/albums/c235/swbenson/Okay, on the top row from left to right...that's me and my sister. We were dressed up because we had just gotten back from the ceremony where I got a big scholarship, so we decided to take some pictures. To the right is me playing cello in the youth orchestra. We were playing Beethoven's Seventh Symphony. Right of that is me after they shaved my head at band camp. And at the far right is me in the Halloween parade, as a Blues Brother, while we were playing Louie Louie. In the bottom row on the left is me after my first college marching band show. It was hot that day, so that's why I'm sweating. Right of that is me in the URI marching band show. It's the first chart of Everybody's Everything. To the right is a group of my best friends, plus my sister, after my last high school concert. I'm on the left. And to the extreme right is me and my band teacher. I'm the one in the tux.

I don't have any photos from this year yet, because I've pretty much refused to bring out my camera, having been a historian last year, which resulted in a grand total of (drumroll please) 1424 photos from last year alone. And yes they're all on my hard drive, thank you for asking along with 227 from the year before and a whopping 13 from my first year. So, you can take a look at a few of those at horn5.blogspot.com/ (I'm still working on getting photos up there though) And here's a video from our out-of-town band camp in September. I'm the second horn in, the one they zoom in on www.stampedeshowband.com/downloads/Media/Video/CarbonCamp/WeekendVid.rm

photobucket.com/albums/v239/banddragonfairy/band%20trip/?action=view¤t=90.jpgHaha, I love this one. It's from my Sophomore year when we went to Victoria, B.C. We were waiting for the parade to start. It was sunny and warm and we were all dying in our uniforms.... as you can tell. We did a slide show at one of our last concerts and my bd's comment to this picture was "Look! My band is so good, we don't have to practice." lol! That one is awesome! Haha. That's pretty much our band all the time.

Your band officially rocks because you played Carry On My Wayward Son. Were you wearing a Burger King crown? ;D The random cow shot was pretty nifty too.

^ Yes, I was wearing a BK crown, as were all the other frosh. It's one of our traditions (I explained it in more detail in the topic "Band Camp: Things done to fresmen"). For the record, that video was taken on the Sunday of camp, and before that we had had all of 3 (I think) rehearsals and the Friday night and Saturday of camp. Don't you love the Dr Beat pounding the entire time ?

Don't you love the Dr Beat pounding the entire time ? It's sexy. And tsaxbassoongurl09, your uniforms are EXTREMELY spiffy.
