Pictures of my last year marching! *sob* In the tunnels underneath the stadium, waiting to go on for pre-game. March on for pregame. Some of the piccolos in the stands. My view from the stands. Entire band in the stands. On the sideline, waiting for halftime. Half-time show for the first game of the season. UVa vs. Georgia Tech, in the rain. It was actually kind of fun, in a I-can't-believe-we're-actually-doing-this sort of way. Girlfriend and I. Awww. The glorious minute and a half when we were actually leading against Virginia Tech. Suffice to say, it didn't last. Graduating band members. Wooo!

UVa vs. Georgia Tech, in the rain. It was actually kind of fun, in a I-can't-believe-we're-actually-doing-this sort of way. You are allowed to march with rain coats on?! We had to be sopping wet because it was blasphemy (or close to it) to march a televised game in rain coats (even though it was driving rain and we put our woodwinds away). Never-mind no one actually sees us march.

"Texas... Our Texas, something something..." "... Something, something, something DARK SIDE" Nice pics, BTW. Yeah the state game (which our footballteam got us to for the 3rd yr in a row) was not in Dallas the way it normally would've been this year because they weren't sure whether said stadium would be finished. However, I did get to see the telecast of the Nebraska/ tu conf. championship game, which was in said stadium. So its not ALL bad. Man, if only tu hadn't gotten that field goal... we would've played TCU! That might've been interesting. Or very predictable and boring, which is how I prefer my football, because I don't want to have an aneurysm. And I can say tu because for all that my mom is a Bama alum, my dad is an Aggie. Whoop! (sorry about the rant there.)
