Wow... what pretty formations... wish we did those, instead of actually trying to make a feather or something... EDIT: So, yeah, I think MSC said something earlier about not posting picture my dad took... I think it's OK you look at them, since you can't really copy them without using very extensive tools... so here's the band! At the Parade: www.printroom.com/ViewGallery.asp?userid=danacarey04&gallery_id=264676At the Homecoming Game: www.printroom.com/ViewGallery.asp?userid=danacarey04&gallery_id=264673I'm the one standing up in the last picture on the 2nd page... Technically, since I play flute, I'm probably not supposed to stand up- trumpets usually get that honor. But, hey, if the trumpets can stand up, so can I! EDIT PART 2: Found more... At Riverview Game! 'Cept we're not on a lot, only, like, a couple a page, and none at all on page 3. P.S.- the guys with the p[aint on their stomachs... most of them are in band, or dating band geeks. All almost got frostbite. www.printroom.com/ViewGallery.asp?userid=danacarey04&gallery_id=259848&curpage=1

I'm the one in the denim shorts. It was our premiere show and the weather wanted to be a party pooper. Needless to say, after we were done with the show and walking back, the skies let loose. I just know there must have been at least 500+ lightning strikes. It was crazy.

Many... tuba people... We have two. Isn't it great fun being in a storm with a huge metal object? I swear that some where in the world, someone has had to have held up a flute and got shocked.

We joke about getting struck. On another note our BD, loves to talk and talk and talk so it could be pouring out after practice with a thunderstorm(a big one) about two miles away and he'll keep talking and talking, and did I mention, trying to make us laugh(yeah, he's not that funny, poor thing) when we should REALLY be getting inside. Sometimes ... Yeah, we've got a few out there, one is a senior and I think we're defintally getting another tuba player, maybe one more if they don't drop out.

this is a really old picture pulled up from the Golden Days... a.k.a. the days I played saxophone in band. the girl on the left is one of our tenor sax players this year (and was one of my best friends until she went all popular on me), the girl in the middle quit band this year (and gave me my beloved sax necklace for my 11th birthday), and the girl on the far right is, of course, myself. it amazes me how young I look in this picture... www.geocities.com/ahsband_chick101/bg1.jpgthis is me, this one clarinet player that quit this year, and the same sax player that quit this year. this was taken directly before our last concert last year. I'm holding a sax because my bd so kindly let me play it for one of our pieces. us.share.geocities.com/ahsband_chick101/bg3.bmpEDIT: as promised, here are more pics. here's a picture of me and a whole bunch of other people being... orchestra geeks! I'm the one in the blue shirt to the right of the girl in the turquoise shirt (that has bad left hand position). www.geocities.com/ahsband_chick101/bg5.jpgthis picture doesn't even have me in it, but it was a really neat picture I took when I was dragged to a Michigan State game by my mom and cousin. it was a photo op just waiting there for me. the actual picture looks a lot better than this, however, because when I uploaded it it turned out looking really odd. us.share.geocities.com/ahsband_chick101/bg4.bmphey, here's a picture of me at Blue Lake! I forgot I had uploaded this one... anyhow, this was taken after my final concert, and I was kind of fed up with my mom for trying to take a picture of me when I was going to put my flute away. and I had my hair up. that's a first. us.share.geocities.com/ahsband_chick101/bg6.bmpoh, and this one. of course, I am not in this picture either, since it's the Michigan Marching Band, but I got really lucky to take this picture because the only U of M game I've ever been to was the one they did the "Cake" in. my MS bd was really excited when I showed her the picture. www.geocities.com/ahsband_chick101/bg2.jpg
