My band went to Disneyland over memorial day weekend. We were on a charter bus for 17 hours. It was really fun though. I never really been to California, or to Disneyland.

We went to Cedar Point 2 years in a row and then this year, we went to Washington DC for a day, Colonial Williamsburg for a day, then Busch Gardens. It was awesome.

New band trip for next year: DC!!! We're going to DC via Amtrak to the Inaugeral festival in January and then going to see the inaugeration of the president!!! Itll be awesome! Also only the top band is going because it would be too expensive to take 180 kids on a train.

We're playing at the "Champs Sports Bowl" in Florida, then spending the rest of our time at Disney from Dec. 26-31.
Like many other future trips on this thread, it's gonna be epic.

LLLLmmmph! Ours isn't looking that great and I probably won't be able to go since it's over spring break... I'll likely be traveling. Gosh, your trip is 6 days. Ours are only ever 3.

^ Old Yet Fun BD did say something about the advantages of going over a break, like everyone's eligible and we can only miss 1 or 2 days of school for a trip.
(don't forget, two of those days we're traveling)

Next summer our trip is to NYC and D.C. I'm going to be the contrary band member who isn't really looking forward to that marching band trip. I mean, I've never been to either place, so that'll be a blast, but the drive will be exactly the same trip we took to Boston last summer. I mean, I was hoping we'd go out west or south or north or just not back to the East! No offense to people in the area, but I want to go as many really different places as possible, and the way it works out I only get 2 band trips, and I was disappointed that they're both out EAst. I mean, on the way to Boston, we drove through NY, so it won't be as much fun.
That turned into more of a vent than I had expected. Still... it'll be grand, I'm sure.

^ Really? Our potential trips are NYC and DC. We're probably going to only do NY though.
