My friend has to have surgery on her ovaries cuz she has a sist And there's a chance that if something goes wrong She won't be able to have kids...
Also, Another friend of mine is going in for a check-up To check on her thyroid cancer (the doctor said she's had it for a few years, never too bad.. but she got in a car wreck and that's how they found it..) She's been in remission, and hopefully it's not back.

A sophomore at my school was killed yesterday...apparently her stepdad was out at a bar all night, came back, shot her mom, her, and then shot himself. By the time police got there everyone had died. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. Thank you.

I don't post here very often.
Last weekend, my marching band director's daughter died.
She was eleven weeks old. She was born seven weeks premature and had Down's Syndrome. His wife is also on the music education faculty. Our entire department is feeling the loss. The mass is scheduled for Wednesday at noon. I don't think any of the teachers are holding classes.

I hate to be selfish, but pray for my boyfriend and I. We've both been cleared on our broken bones (i.e. they will heal fine) but we both need to get MRIs done to make sure we didnt rip any tendons. I'm especially worried because I still can't bend my elbow at all, he seems fine and okay with everything but we've both been freaking out. The worst that would happen is surgery, but I really just dont want to put my family through anymore. The car accident, the insurance stuff, my bf even got a ticket for supposed "tailgaiting" which was not the case at all ... I just want it all to be over with.

Soon the third member of my family's life will be claimed by cancer. My Papa (Dad's side) died when I was 2-ish from skin cancer (missionary in the 50-70's in Nigeria, Africa), My grandma (other side) from cancer metastasized to her bones (after beating breast cancer two-ish years before) my freshmen year, and now my Tante (aunt), she lied to us for years that she had it, and now they have to amputate her one leg next week because she actually has it now (several different sorts). The doctors say that she has only time now before she passes away. My mom also had to have bone marrow biopsies this week because of some strange counts. It's not necessarily a tumor or anything but to be honest I'm scared.

Oh dear. You deserve a giant hug, Greenepony. I can't imagine how you're feeling right now. I admire you and your family for your strength, and I offer my condolences for all of the difficulties you've encountered. I will keep your family in my prayers.

Today was really hard for the band, since it's the one year aniversary of my former bd's son's passing. Please just think of his family and remember them in your prayers.

My tante (aunt) has her amputation tomorrow morning... How was the amputation? Is she healing all right? I just have a general prayer for those of us who have finals within the next month or so. Don't get too busy and lose sight of what is most important...

She's alright, I guess my family wen to visit her (I was at church so I had a valid excuse to avoid the hospital) they only took of the bottom part of her leg, apparently she's healing fine as far as I know

Oh Greenepony - we just went through something like that. My Grandpa had skin cancer, went into remission, and then it came back with avengance, spreading to his lungs, spinal cord, and brain. He passed away Monday after Thanksgiving.
My prayers are with you, your aunt and your family.
