one guy i know can always tell who i have a crush on because hes known me for...i dunno about 4/5 years now? and, unlike most guys, he is extremely observant and good at that sort of thing. its very annoying since if he doesnt like the guy i like he gets really annoying about it

my al Coda is gradiating (lol I spelled it wrong on purpose) this year. but it was fun 'cause I screamed really loudly for him when the seniors were introduced at the concert yesterday. (and for musicscifigirl! but for a different reason, of course, lol)

Okay...i have NO CLUE whether or not this goes here..but i'll say it anyways. Okay, on Saturday (the 5th) we had All-Region Honor Band Auditions...okay, well..we were leaving, and we stopped at a gas station about a block away from the school where the auditions were. well, i get back onto the bus, and i sit in the front like i always do. (only 9 people went to audition.) so all 9 of us got back on the bus, and all of the guys were in the back of the bus. there was me and our drum major up front with our bd. (yet another guy). but our lead snare player asked me if i would go back there with them because we weren't talking up there. so i went back there, and all of us were just talking for a while, and all of a sudden, our lead snare player asks me "so, who from our school do you like?" i was like "........no one...really.." (i was kind of shocked at the suddeness of the question) (but the truth is, i DO like someone from my school, but he's in MY grade, and he's in BAND, and he was sitting like 2 seats behind me...so i couldn't really answere truthfully..i kinda also have a crush on our lead trumpet player, and he was RIGHT next to me). But he asked me that like twice. and well, after he asked me that, he was like "come into the seat in front of me so i can give you a shoulder rub." so i went into the seat in front of him, and he just starts rubbing my shoulders, and he just starts getting touchier and touchier...i'm like (okay...i'm just going to put in a fake name here) Bob!!! quit!!!" and so he settles down, and then he starts to tickle me later...that didn't bother me so much. but he would always get touchy..sometimes it didn't really bother me, and other times it did. but we like had to hold hands almost the whole way back to the HS (about 2 hours away). there was one time where he tried to kiss me, but you know...i wasn't ready for that yet.. but there were a couple of funny things about the trip back...yeah, sure, we were all flirting and all...that has nothing to do with it...but when "Bob" would turn around to answer a younger percussionist's question, my actual crush would be looking at me, and i would roll my eyes at "Bob"...but it that was funny..and also...my actual crush said in a kind of loud voice "what really bothers me is a guy who throws himself on a girl, and that girl would never be caught going out with him..." it was quite humerous.. but i'm still not sure what is happening. do you?

@_@
I <3 being an objectivist, becuse when i find love, its with an objectivist. So its like "i like you" followed by "i like you too", and then we define what we want in the relationship, as well as boundries. Which are naturally.....well lax
sadly tho, there was only one time i found a compatible objectivist, but i was a loser then. No matter the standard. She went out with me, but she kinda tossed me into hell, becuse the small part of me that deserved to be labled as me, wouldnt let me quit like a B****
Long story short, i then met my mentor, of sorts, and after a lot of work that my mentor didnt know she was doing, i healed, and now i my feelings for this person are a warm crush, becuse any more would turn me into a bleeding heart.
My advice is simple, pick one, and dont be shy about how you feel, tell them and try for a relationship, if you so desire. If that fails miserablly, theres still the other, so regroup, and take the same shot with him

You know, I never really thought about Objectivism and it's impact on relationships.
That said, beware defining yourself too strongly by an ideology. The consequences can be....unpleasant.

I dont find it so, i feel that i define the idealogy, it dosent define me, there are aspects i dont agree with, but the thing about objectivism is that it makes allowances for ppl who dont think the same way, which is one of my highest principles

I think the only guys I ever like are in band because you get to spend alot of time with them and they understand where band stands in my life haha...only when one goes bad the one who broke up with the other one gets looked down on by the band for about a month then we are one big happy band again!!!

All the guys i have crushes on are in band. But, i'm one of the guys( i'm a girl but i spend most of my time hanging out with guys) I don't think that any of them are going to amount to anything. Maybe Matt but that's about it, i wouldn't be dissapointed, 1/2 the band thinks we're going out thanks to a certain trumpet player, grrr.

My life would be a lot of easier if EVERYONE I KNOW didn't assume I am completely and totally obsessed with my crush. Which I am, I guess, but still, I would rather not keep getting it shoved in my face by everone.
*pause* And yes, he's in band. The other band, unfortunately.

The reason we crush on people in band is because we spend ALL of our time with them-- we hardly see anyone else!

Has anyone had any luck trying to get together with their crush!? I did, finally. I started liking our freshman tenor sax player in December of last year... problem was, he was a freshman and I was a senior. So I didn't want to say anything. But of course, as always, people found out eventually, and one of my best friends was one of those people. She was pretty good friends with the guy I liked, so she did some going back and forth between us and got us to talk. We talked, we decided to give it a try, and now we've been together for nine months. I'll tell you, it's very nice to have a boyfriend in band with you.

i've had a crush on a certain trombone player in the band for a while but he's hooked up with someone else in band. Every time i see them together she's all over him. :sigh: oh well everyone says that they wont last past homecomming.
