Haha. I love surf. I can't wait until I go to Music in Motion on the 31st at West Chester. I get to see surf, the cadets, blue devils, carolina crown, blue knights, glassmen, crossmen, and cascades.

I don't remember Suncoast Sound, but Ron Ellis and John Campese(Both from Disney) were part of it

I don't remember Suncoast Sound, but Ron Ellis and John Campese(Both from Disney) were part of it Look up Suncoast...some of their stuff is on YouTube. Robert Smith, who currently writes for Glassmen, did Suncoast orignally. Suncoast was the first corps to come out with a completely original musical book in 1985. The current methos of placed-foot direction changes (rather than the hard pivots prevelant at the time) was pioneered by Suncoast. They had a hornline so sweet that Wayne Downey told us so in the warmup arc for a show in Stillwater. They were the only corps to take a subcaption from BD in 86 (field brass) They were a great corps for all too short a time...and they rarely get the credit they deserve.

Cavaliers definitely... but I still love The Academy. They're new and could do more creatively with their shows, but they're still amazing (and local). Got to work with them last week at camp, and I've heard their show a million times by now and tonight's their first performance, because season starts tomorrow!!

Some of my usernames on other websites insinuate that I'm a huge Cavaliers fan, which I still am, but I think Phantom Regiment and Carolina Crown have moved into my top ranks. I'm also a supporter of the Bluecoats, and I like to check up on what the Crossmen are doing from time to time.

Heh....kinda ironic that you like SCV so much and list your shows that have Key Poulan's music......and Key is actually a Blue Devil alum! (Baritone 1983....the year before I marched)

wow never knew that. that's really cool. Kind of a twist marching BD and ends up writing for SCV but none the less, it's always nice to know where someone has marched that you never knew... where am I going with this..... Umm...
Anyway new corps to add to my list
Alliance.
