So, my flute, being considerably older than I am, is beginning to tarnish, especially around the embrouchure piece. Does anyone have any suggestions for a polish I should use? I want to try avoid anything that could be potentially toxic, since I'll be using it on the section that directly touches my mouth.

A silver polishing cloth works well to remove tarnish. Sometimes the regular microfiber clothes will remove tarnish as well, but I've found the ones for silver polishing are more effective (the instrument does not have to be made of silver to use a silver polishing cloth).

Silver polishing cloths are good. I like to wipe mine off with a regular microfiber cloth after polishing the tarnished areas.
If there's tarnish forming in hard-to-reach places (like in-between keys), you might just wanna take it to the shop.
