Whenever I hear something about Mozart I automatically think of the movie "Amadeus", which my middle school BD made us watch 4 times in 3 years. It was a creepy movie to me at the time.

yeah, I heard about this. Blech, strep is not a fun infection to have, and its not too difficult to see how Mozart could have died from it.

Pretty sure Mozart was German, not Austrian... unless I'm making something up, I thought Salzburg was a part of Germany when he was born? But ANYWAYS... I always find it interesting when new ideas like this surface about the death of someone like him. To me, it seems like it would be a waste of time (along the lines of people still trying to figure out who Jack the Ripper was), but it's interesting, nonetheless.
