My HS used to have the vocag building, the band hall/ orch room, and the fish campus as satellite buildings... then 60% of the main building burned in 2001ish and when it was rebuilt everything was built back with connecting hallways, etc.

I really don't care for the idea of separating the fish from everyone else...they have to learn to behave themselves sometime, and I don't see the point of extending middle school for them.

That's really weird... I've actually never been to a school that has the separate stuff going on. So, there's just different classes in other buildings? Are they right next to the school or what?

^They're a parking lot away. Not very far in the spring and fall...but of course when winter and summer rolls around it's awful. Haha. We also have the "Academic center", which is a technically separate building (Meaning there are doors separating it) that we share with the Jr. High....there's two HS science classes in it and like one Jr. High English and two Maths. (The Jr. High is directly next to the HS)

Ours, when they were separate, were less so than that. Just about 20 feet or less, except for fish campus but that was originally the junior high, as I think I have said.
What would you say if I said I was practically being forced to quit band? I will post details on the I Need Advice room... it's a long long story. Edit: OK never mind I'm not quitting.... but next year is not going to be fun. There's a girl on the leadership team who hates me... I'm afraid she will abuse her power to make me miserable...

Have you ever tried putting frosting on an ice cream sandwich to make a mini ice cream cake?
Well, as it turns out, it's very very hard to successfully frost an ice cream sandwich. Try it yourself if you don't believe me.

That does sound pretty difficult. I've tried frosting not-yet-set jello, so I know your pain.
But anyone else go to Applebee's often? Half price appetizers after 9 here! =D

I got my scedule a couple weeks before school was out. about a mnth before school was out we had this thing called arena scheduling. they start with juniors and go down. you aree split inot groups based on gpa. well one group at a time gets to go down to the gym and schedule your own classes. you get to pick your classes and times you have those classes. the trick is getting your schedule to fit the way you want it because once their is 25 people in a certain class at a certain time you cant get that class and your you have to change it. i was lucky enough to get all the classes the way i want. but yea. we get to pick our won classes and when we want them. and so you know that day what classes you have for the next year. it is really cool.

I hope I get creative writing like I asked for this year. The teacher is awesome (he's my homeroom and was my Brit Lit teacher last year.) He accepts my bizarre sense of humor and allows me to turn in my vocab sentences about stapling people to trees and the juggernaut of fried monkey brains that devastated penguin town, the bloodthirsty guard duck that devours the mailman, shrilly exhorted by his frail female owner...enough said. It was an interesting year.

I got a 5 on my AP music theory test, woot squared... I am depressed about next year. I don't know if I'll even survive the first week of band camp. I just want to go crawl into a hole... People please pray for me... And the upshot is, the BD doesn't even believe there's a problem between me and her, so I am going to just sound like a whiny kid if I try to tell him what she does. I ... need... help...

I ... need... help... Explain it to someone on leadership team and have them go with you. You can survive it. Unleash the Titan. It's fine if you sound whiny if something gets done. Don't feel like you have to deal with it if it's that bad.

Thanks for the advice. I have decided to give it a week once camp starts and not lose it, quit, etc. until then. Oye.
