I think we've all heard a classical piece and thought, "Man, that should go in our pep book." Here is an opportunity to do that-pick a song or a selection that you think is appropriate for a particular circumstance in a game setting and tell it to us. You don't have to use these categories, but I thought it was a good start.
Entrance Tchaikovsky-Hymn from '1812' Copland-Fanfare for the Common Man Visiting player introductions Fucik-Entry of the Gladiators Home player introductions
Home team score Beethoven-Ode to Joy Visitor team score Tchaikovsky-French theme from '1812' (La Marseille) Before halftime-Home team leading
Before halftime-Visitor team leading Smith-Into the Storm Mussorgsky-Night on Bald Mountain Home team driving/rallying Smith-Celtic Carol End of game-home victory Tchaikovsky-Anthem from '1812' (the cannon section) Stravinksy-Finale from "Firebird Suite"
"Mars" is actually in our pep book, but I don't know what it gets used for-I don't know the piece that well.
