So, at my high school, you have to audition to be in marching band as a freshman. And I will be having an audition soon. I can take care of the music, but there is something else I need help on. I heard from a parent of someone who made it last year as a freshman, and she said that the band teacher was mainly looking for people who asked questions. I need some good questions to ask. Any ideas?

What is our show this year?
Do we cater to more of a non-band related audience or a competition related one?
I don't know... What ever you want to know, ask.

How often do we practice?
How long is our half time show?
Who are the drum majors?
Do we march in parades?
Do we go to all of the football games? Just the home games?
That's all I got right now... for us, marching band is required, so this is new to me.

How many buses would we be taking?
Don't be all "I'm not sure I can do this" or too confident...act like it wouldn't surprise you to get in but you aren't completely sure.
