We've got....oh geeze....10 days til we're officially considered seniors. In band, we've been seniors since all the seniors had their last offical day. People have been moving into the senior lounge in the cafeteria with the seniors still there! that was hilarious to see their expressions when they realized what had happened.
I can't believe high school has gone by so fast...I'm scared for college cuz I know my grades are not the best due to certain situations at home, my medical issuses, problmatic teachers who kept losing my work and then refusing to grade it and plain apathy on my end...so I'm kinda afraid I'm not going to be accepted into any of the colleges I want to attend. >.<;;;

I have some schedule for senior year. Four AP classes (would be more but my schedule didn't allow) and two honors, and then 3 band classes. I'm taking band and corps just like any other year, and taking on jazz band and a new instrument, the bari sax. That, along with my promotion to first trumpet and the continuation of my tenure as second chair flute, guarantees that senior year will be AMAZING! I won't get senioritis though, or at least I'm hoping. I was so resentful of the seniors that did last year.

^^ I actually have a block schedule. Same number of classes as the 7-class thingamajig, but we have 90-minute blocks and "A-day-B-day." It's pretty convoluted, but basically I have 8 credits (9 classes), and most of my classes last all year, save for a couple which are semester classes.

I got my senior pictures taken on Monday. It hit me when they did the cap and gown picture that I'm actually a senior and need to enjoy my last year of high school as much as possible. It's a scary thought for me.

I still need to schedule those.
But does anyone ever get the feeling that underclassmen are starting to get more of a "i'm better then my elders" attitude? i'm reading what people are posting and just in general at my school and it really boils my blood. I'm wondering if its anywhere else.

Aww, I remember when I was a senior in high school! Now I'm a senior in college and I can't even believe it. I'm currently working on research for my senior thesis (yes, my college still requires undergraduate theses for all students in order to graduate, as well as comprehensive exams in the final semester), which is grand. I'm doing a study of disabilities in the short stories of Flannery O'Connor. Yaaay! Also, looking for grad school is not so fun, come to find out. The costs make me want to cry because I'm already in enough debt! But now it's time to enjoy being a senior

I can't wait for my senior year! I've got 5 music classes (Out of... 8 >.> )
My school runs on a 4-Block classes for 90 mins and has this A-day B-day thing
1st semester: Dual Enrollment English (ENC001) / American Government Honors Wind Ensemble / Jazz Band Electronic Music (Learn to use Garage Band and programs like that, it's pretty nifty) Drum Corps
Which means for my first semester my last three periods are all music classes!
And then 2nd Semester: Dual Enrollment English (ENC002) / Economics Honors Wind Ensemble / Jazz Band AP Music Theory Algebra II
...Okay, so I'm not the best at math... so... yeah. I'm kinda retaking it for a better grade (I didn't fail.. I just need a better grade >.> )
