:-p We had a "short" show this year at about 6min30sec and about... 115 pages of drill, Many of which were sequenced moves so if you count those as sets... I don't know. A bunch. I've got the link around here somewhere, but if you youtube "shadow armada" it'll be there.

My band has 59 sets this year. Maybe and probably more... but some of them are big count moves... so it should be a lot more. The show that we're doing this year is about 11 minutes. It's kind of long... but it's all good. It's a neato show anyway. Haha

This year, we had 84 sets total. In my sophmore year, another challenging show, we had 86 sets total. This years show though, I cant remember if it was under 9 minutes or 8 minutes that our show was... At the end of it though, we were marching 195+.

Freshman year: 79 sets for about a 7-9 minute show? Sophomore: 95 for a pretty long show... Don't remember how long... Junior: 82 for a relatively long show... overall, pretty drastic numbers... xD

Holy crap. You guys have like 5x the amount of sets we march! I think the most we've had so far was for the last show we did, which was I think 16 sets? Except I'm assuming you guys are all in competitive HS bands where you march 1 show per year...?
I just worked the BOA regional we hosted on Saturday, and was completely blown away by how amazing those bands were. All I could think was "so THIS is why everyone gets excited about high school marching band!". lol

we had about 100 sets this year, i think. but some were halted moves, and we had to march two sets of 4 to 5 steps we had to do. i don't remember how long our show was, because we would do different combinations of our songs.
and my band isn't competing this year. because at every comp last year, it would be cold and my friend would tell our director, "can we go to the bus now? it's cold...can we go now? is it over yet?" and he told us that because of that, he decided that we were worrying about the weather and when it would be over that we weren't really learning much from the other bands. and honestly, i don't think we were. i mean, there is only one other band in our class anyway (we were class C). so we didn't do comps this year, and i think it made us more positive and we had more fun.
