My band usually marches between 65 and 70 pages of drill for a 7 and a half minute halftime show. I was wondering how much other bands are required to memorize because we seem to do more complex shows than most bands in our area.

Thirty for six minutes is about what we do.

IUP averages about 90 pages per show ... I think we have 36 for our first number, 20 for the second and 32 for the third.

We do maybe 30 pages, top, for our band- mostly due to time constraints (there literally isn't enough time to learn more than that, especially when we have game weeks back to back).

Usually we do 25-35 drills a show, and we do a new field show every home game (we have 3 weeks before our next game! YES!)

Uh ... about 69 pages for about 7 and a half to 8 minutes this year. 27 in the opener, 7 in the ballad, 14 in the march, and 21 in the closer.

Last year was intense. We had 4 looonnng movements, the show was about 12 minutes, 4 movements and we had some 96(?) sets. This year the show is shorter- more like 6:30 but we still have some 60 charts.

8ish minute show for 60 pages.
It would probably be a good contest show, but our BD said there are too many wet blankets in our band and we want to be a crowd pleasing band, not one the crowd hates but is good at contest.

^Wow that's pretty much word for word what my director said, minus the wet blanket. Our marching is an extension of our pep band...

We have about 60 for an 8 min show...
Most of the sets are in the Opener and Closer. The ballad I think has... 6 or 7 sets.

Let's see, we do about 25 pages per show (or around 35 for our Festival Show). So calculating how many shows we do, we do about 150 pages or so of drill over the course of the season. Plus Pregame. Plus the Three in One.

I forgot about pregame... so that's lets 6 more (we have a really simple pre-game which is just fine by me)
