My old room mate just found out she can never play flute again because the doctors can't figure out what's wrong with her right hand. She says she'll continue with her violin (she just started over the summer) because it doesn't hurt, but she was a flute major and she's a senior this year...talk about major suckage. I think she needs a hug and a lot of prayer.

I'm just really sick today, and I don't know why. I've been like this since I nearly passed out from dehydration at band practice today.

My abs (or lack thereof) have been killing me since two days ago. I know I'm out of shape, but I did the stupid fitness test required sit-ups to the best of--- and beyond---- my abilities. I don't know how many minutes the annoying tape of the lady saying "Up.... down. Up.... down." lasted, but I sat-up and -down until it clicked off, and now I'm walking hunched over, because even standing perpendicular to the ground just kills my stomach.

My dad is a chemical engineer--- and there was an explosion at his plant today. I don't know if anyone was hurt, but it really freaks me out to know that he could have been hurt. I don't know what I'd do if he was because I'm a such Daddy's Girl.
What makes this even more deja vu is that there was another explosion at a magnesium plant outside of Nashville today.

^ Ooh, that sucks. I remember when my sis took AP calc... yeah.
Okay. This is bizarre, but I am sort of depressed that I made sl. I'm a sophomore, and it's my first year in wind ensemble (all freshmen must take concert band). I beat out 3 sophomores, 5 juniors, and 2 seniors. One of the juniors hates me. She's hated me since my first year of marching band. She thinks I sucked up to our old mb sl, and is jealous that I made honor band last year but she didn't. I heard that when she saw my name as sl on the list, she pointed at it and said "How the f*** did that f****** f***** beat me?" Things are going to be tense. And I'm afraid that the senior who got put as second chair will get mad at me, too. She's a foreign exchange student (not sure where from--Germany maybe?), and she's really bossy and she swears when people talk during band. To top it all off, one of my friends is friends with the junior who's *ticked* off at me, and she doesn't want to defend me in order to stay out of it. I don't blame her at all, but it's just going to make band complicated.
