Dr. Pepper all the way.
My band has a tradition (one of our few) of filling out cases with candy after the crhistmas concert. OMG that's usually bad.
One of the bass drummers wanted to fill his case.

[which we arent supposed to keep xD] i also have old geometry homework, random crumpled stand tune sheets and other strange miscellaneous stuff in there...

I have been known to carry purse type stuff in my instrument and a tuner/ metronome, reed or two and oil kit in my purse. Go band nerds. Wow, we're getting off topic.

yes. we have key oil because our keys get stuck and bore oil (for wood woodwinds) which we're only supposed to use once a year - helps keep the wood from drying out and cracking.

On topic: Buying chocolate and sparkling juice on a jazz band trip. First ingredient for the chocolate: sugar. We were hyper.

Today, I bought a container of doughnut holes. It would have been a big deal if a drummer hadn't bought Angel Food cake. We almost killed him ripping that thing up.
Samthered's sparkling juice was amazing. I tried to look all cool and casual and take a swig out of the bottle on the bus, but totally ruined the effect by spilling it all over my face. Figures.

^I spilled all over my face too whenever I started laughing. What's really fun is when you have sugar/sparkling juice and people comment on how high/drunk you look.

hahaha! reminds me. at a late night out of town [out of country, too- in mexico] game we went to a macdonalds on the way back at like 12 am and i went to safeway with a couple of seniors & bought sour ice breakers [which greatly aided me in not falling asleep on the bus later on] and a pepsi.. Then i went to macdonalds and got a snack wrap thingymabob. So i sat outside with some friends, not to mention the jr. baritone SL i had a huuuuge crush on. So yes i was having a good time sitting next to my looover and talking and stuff and then one of the sax players said something stupid, like 'yo mama sucks bla bla bla bllaa' and since i was hyper i think i overreacted, and i kinda shook the pepsi bottle... a lot, saying some stupid things like that back to him. haha I opened it and it went all over the table. We were roflmao. xD
