We're doing four shows (that's college band for ya...)
1. Journey - Separate Ways - Any Way You Want It - Don't Stop Believin'/Be Good to Yourself/Separate Ways
2. Halloween Themed Show (It doesn't have a name yet, I don't think...) - Halloween Medley (Includes: Toccatta and Fugue, Phantom of the Opera, This is Halloween, and Beetlejuice) - Night on Bald Mountain - Thriller (We're going to dance during this one)
3. Guitar Hero Themed Show (Songs still unannounced)
4. Millenium Show (I think, I'm not 100% sure on this last one...)
So far we've performed Journey once, and we still have a way to go to perfect it, but it's really fun. And yesterday we read through the Halloween show and that one will either really work and be really cool, or be a complete failure. It's weird too, because we'll have moved on to show 3 by the time Halloween actually rolls around...

Our first show is the music of Queen:
We Will Rock You Fat-Bottomed Girls (or as our director calls it "Pot-Bellied Men") Bohemian Rhapsody We Are the Champions/Bohemian Rhapsody Reprise.

That is so awesome! When I was a sophomore in high school we did a show almost exactly like that! I hope you have fun with it. The Queen show I did was my favorite of my high school career.

It was a "Monsters of Rock" show with School's out, Frankenstein (changed to Beth), and Karn Evil 9 (changed to a different song I never got).
Then we got a new director and are just playing segments from Wicked. I think the show is calle "Defying Gravity", if I remember the meeting right.

YARGGGG! we're doing a custom show(BOO!!!!HISSSSS!!!BOO!!!!) based off of elton john's goodby yellow brick road.Last year we had the wizered of oz the wiz and wicked. This years sucks as bad as last years, great we get higher music scores because its written for our instramentation. That dose us no good as everyone hates the show because the music is to easy.I would kill for 16ths or 180BPM right now.The first 32 counts is standing playing whole notes, my freashmen year we highsteped two 16th note runs ending in holdin a high g.

Our next Show (yet to be named) has been announced! "20th Century Fox Fanfare", "Batman Prelude" that leads into "thingy Tracy/Batman" (with thingy Tracy cut out), "Raiders March" into "E.T. Finale" closing with "Also Sprach Zarathustra" into "The Main Theme from Robin Hood"
It's a ton of music and I'm not sure how we're going to march it all... at least we have 3 weeks to work on this show

^ Really? This is our 4th show this year. *dies a little inside* We had a week and a half for our first, a week for our second and half a week because of rain for our third. But with 3 weeks till our next home game we have to learn drill and this crazy amount of music (we have a lot of cuts though, which is nice) I think we have in excess of 7 shows planned for this season...

The music is arranged by the same guy who arranges for Carolina Crown. I thought Professor Flum did your arrangements? Or does he arrange for Crown too? I was wandering around in the music building after dark last June with my cousin (I was one of like 5 people there) and we came upon Dr. Ozzello's office... I was so tempted to make off with that awesome poster he has outside his office... do you know if they sell those? And did you know you have a phantom symphony in your concert hall?
