Ah yes, we do have a couple. The saxophones, for sure, they come to rehearsal wearing pirate costumes. The baritones don't seem to be able to achieve "not talking", and it's always about something, um, "interesting"... And then there's the drumline. They're just crazy. I mean it. If I even started to explain all of the ways they are insane, I would end up using all of the 59,600 characters I have left.

Yes the percussion section is always crazy! On the bus one night around midnight we are all freezing and hiding under blankets and sweatshirts they go it's not cold and two of them took their shirts off to prove it! The said some stuff i would rather not repeat but then they sing like acoustic happy songs with a heavy metal type scream they are crazy!!!

The entire band is crazy, but it would not be fun any other way.

haha yeah, my whole band is absolutely insane most of the time, but the worst of it is the trumpets, they NEVER shut up, and they just do stupid things.

Some of the percussionists in my band do not operate on any sort of recognizable human wavelength.
When I was a freshman, the low brass was known for being the.....most obsessed with going to the bathroom, to put it mildly. I will never forget some of the conversations they had in marching band. And it smelled pretty bad.

Low brass in our band. Just low brass in general [there's only 7 of them...]. They all are, uh. interesting. they also have not been able to grasp the "not talking" thing.

Ours would be the saxophones. If something inexplicable and crazy happens... look no further than them. We had many of them graduate last year but those that are left are doing a good job of upholding tradition.

Definitely drumline in my band, and not in a good way. They will not stop talking, and this one kid who is hyperactive makes me want to pull his hair out because he won't listen to anyone. I don't even know why he's in band because he doesn't really seem to care at all.

In my band its either the percussion or flutes. The percussion is just absolutely unbelievable (OUR DRUM COUNSELOR at camp told us to rub our nipples if we were having a bad day. Being a girl, this was rather awkward and so I never participated, but the boys did.) And the flutes are just totally ADD.

I think the majority of the drumline has that market cornered in out band. xD The other sections can be silly at times, but the drumline is always doing some bizarre thing.

First place would have to be our drumline. All you have to do is take a look at last year's Percussion Bash. Silly skits and the below random video made my year.
Second place is the trombones. I think they have the longest-running line of insane traditions, including Sam Paik's trombone (or what's left of it), trombone waves in the stands, and playing the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare everytime we get an interception.
