What about annoying people in your own grade? Im cool with most of the fish and upperclassmen. But there are a few sophys who for no reason just randomly took an immediate dislike to me at the beginning of our fish year. And they are really annoying bcz many of their "people" that they "accept" are also good friends of mine. So it's like we have to compete for attention. Which is NO fun.

I can deal with most freshmen. We do have a junior in my band though who always has to be right. If our BD tells us to go to a certain set, he sometimes puts a rock in his spot. We run a few sets, and BD tells us to go back. The junior goes to his rock while everyone else is set up in the form. People mark off their spots, he's still off. And he expects us to guide to him because that's where he put his rock... I guess it doesn't occur to him that the rock could have been moved when people walked on top of it, or that the rock won't be there in the actual performance... Uggh. He's annoying.
We have a few know-it-all freshmen too that get on my nerves. Some freshies are totally fine though.

That's why you use a pokerchip with a nail in it. Doesn't work on a concrete field though

in our band, the annoying ones are the sophomores because we don't let freshmen march except in colorguard. i'm not crazy about a lot of the juniors either. the seniors (my classmates) are all ok for the most part.
