^ Yeah...believe me, my older brothers have been a HUGE help! Especially since they know I'm busy and they've been helping me get some of the weight off my shoulders, which I greatly appreciate.

We made our new Department Chair an honorary member this past Wednesday. On another note, our brothers in basketball band went with the Women's Basketball team to the NCAA last weekend and we met brothers from Oklahoma State (Alpha Chapter!!) and Ohio State. I love meeting brothers from other schools!!

Woah, weird, our chapter has exactly the same flag!
Our chapter is putting through an honorary member this semester. He graduated last year, and is a Sister of TBS. While he was active, he was one of the biggest people who helped develop better relations between our two chapters.

We had elections last night for next school year, I got voted VP Service! I kinda wanted VP Membership again but I'm pretty happy with how things turned out.

Congratulations! I'm so excited to see so many TFBC people becoming brothers! The Epsilon chapter held our elections last night. I was nominated for the office of President. I didn't win the election, but I felt very honored to have such support from my chapter. I was however elected to my 3rd year of being Corresponding Secretary, so if any of you want to get in touch w/ Epsilon, you'll have to go through me first!

Congatulations...on new members and offices, whichever may apply.
Theta Upsilon is having our third degree Wednesday morning. So, if you're going to be in or near Rhode Island, come find us at URI.

Gamma had our elections two days ago. Meeting started at 5:40pm, ended at around 2:20am. Everybody was soooo tired. I was running for Historian but didn't get it this time.

So, I'm considering music ed as a college major, and even if I choose differently, I'm still going do an ensemble in college. I know that you are eligible for Tau Beta Sigma if you're taking one band credit a year, but I really don't know about Kappa Kappa Psi.
Of my top two college choices, my first is relatively small and does not have eith KKY or TBS chapters. My second choice has both.
I just started thinking about fraternities/sororities recently, once I learned more about KKY and TBS. I honestly never thought I'd consider joining a sorority since I had always thought of them as more social than anything else.
Is the KKY/TBS experience worth it? Should music majors try to join them? I'd really just like to know whether having a KKY chapter should affect my decision about where I go to college.

I've been considering KKY or TBS, but I'm not really sure whether I'd want to. especially since this may be my last year of colorguard. I'm not sure about that yet, but it's getting serious thought. For one, I don't know a lot about it, and again, I may not be in music for long. I have no doubt that it would be a good thing for me to get involved in and whatnot, but I'd feel like the odd one out.

Since Baylor has both KPsi and Tau Beta girls are only allowed to Tau Beta and guys KPsi. Apparently the girls who transfer to BU and are in KPsi can be snippy towards Tau Beta girls. If there wasn't the requirement that you have to be in an ensemble every semester I would think about rushing, well the ensembles and how much my min-con leaders' grades dropped when they rushed.
