Bassoon: Low F the one that just sits under the staff, or just plain old B flat. Flute: High F, but B flat is pretty good to me.

My favorite note on any clarinet is G. Any G really, but the chalemeau one is my favorite, especially on Bb. I like the altissimo register on Bb, too, but not as much on the lower clarinets...(not to mention I am not good at it on my alto - can barely hit F, but it is probably my sucky clarinet).

Half hole the first finger. Don't pick it up. On contrabass... low F. Makes the floor shake

Did I say F? I meant D. I don't like playing high notes on alto. I tried that half hole thing and it didn't work. I don't know, I'll try again later when I pick it back up. I'm taking a break from it for now because I am playing contra in WE and Bb in WWE and not preparing for honor bands yet, so I'll try it when I am more accustomed.

On trumnpet? I just like playing high notes. The E above the staff is always fun.
