I like to include the brand of the clarinet in with the name. My first clarinet was Joey Bundy. The clarinet i use now is Matt LeBlanc. The brand is LeBlanc so i thought it would be fun to name it after someone with that name.

So, I'm planning on saving up money to buy an alto flute and/or a piccolo. What should I name them when I do get them?
I have 2 flutes currently: Steve and Erik

Oh yea. My old student trumpet was Beuford (because it was a Beuscher brand and It just went.) then I got my Stradivarius...Her name is Bella...because Bella means Beauty, and she sure is a Beauty! I love my Bella. almost everyone knows her as Bella now too. They all call her by her name now, even my own parents XD!!!

I can never think of a good name for anything. I'm trying out calling my trumpet Fernando, but I don't know if it will stay.

Benedicto is my baritone, I think....it's the name I use in Spanish so it sort of goes with me.

I first wanted to name my clarinet Sadako, since it was a Yamaha, but I'm still thinking about what to name him. Anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking of including Yamaha into the name.

My marching sax is Sally and my concert sax is Rachel.
Our section all named their instruments with names of the opposite gender, it's sort of a tradition now.

Our section all named their instruments with names of the opposite gender, it's sort of a tradition now. Haha, one girl in my band does that. She asked me for help with naming her bass clarinet, so I suggested "Claire." Her response? "It has to be a boy... I don't want to play a girl. That would be weiiiiiird...."

I just got a millitary baton for drum major tryouts. It's really nice. His name is Hector. The name kinda came around because I've gotta read the Illiad for English class.
