I've named my flute Alphonse.
It used to have a different name but it didn't fit... Then randomly I decided to name it Alphonse and it just clicked. I can't imagine his name being anything else.
I haven't named my tuba or oboe yet... probably cause I'm borrowing them from school and Alphonse is actually mine.

My trumpet's name is Frances. He is the awesomest, cutest, and spiffiest trumpet in the world. And my baritone's name is Filbert. I might not name my marching baritone in band camp this summer since it won't be mine- it belongs to the school. But if I were to name it, it would be Bartholomew, or if it's a girl, it would be Opalene.

This thread is kind of old but oh well. I wasn't very original in my younger stages.
Bobbio - my first clarinet Claire - my second clarinet Annette - my third clarinet
And no, I didn't break any of them.

hah. bringing back the old thread ;D
my flutes are named Steven & Eric. No particular reason whatsoever. :] My trumpet actually came with a name, as it was wicket0ford's old trumpet. It's name is Obi Wan Kenobi. ;D

My old flute (that is also my marching flute) is Garfunkal, my new (concert) flute is Simon and I also have a decrepit clarinet named Deathly Danny, because if any true reed player saw the reed I have on him, they would probably die of horror. ~TDF

^ That's an awesome name. Anyone got any ideas for a new name for my trumpet? I don't like him being named Obi Wan.

Ok, so mine have changed.
Recorders = James and Jack Soprano Clarinet = Schnelly Bass Clarinet = Catherine Trumpet = Phillip Oliver Alto Saxophone = Schwartzeneger VII Guitar = Sir Alfonso iPod = Schwartzeneger VIII
Note: Schwartzeneger I-IV & VI were people. V was a blue flamingo pen.

^what about VII? Never thought to name my recorder, don't know why. Perhaps I'll think about it.

I'm thinking of naming my marching baritone Erik. There's an actual reason behind that, haha. It's because the Phantom of the Opera's name is Erik, and SCV did Phantom in '89, and I plan to join SCV when I get out of high school So, there is a meaning, I guess. Not sure what to name my non-marching one... Haha, I'll think of something.
