I'm gonna have to go w/ clarinets. The sound is so... weak, and possibly strange? to me, I'm not really sure to describe how I perceive it. And the people that I've known who play it are the people in band who just sit there and do squat, whine, complain, etc. to the drum major (that'd be me). Outside of band they're alright, but once they get that tube in their hands... *shivers*
I'm a brass person and more so a bass person, so things like high notes on guitar irritate me (even though I play guitar for the theatre dept.) but piccolo is pretty cool because ours is ridiculously good at it.

Hmm... i pretty much hate anything that can't go into a jazz combo band. XD That means any type of flute... clarinet.... Tuba's can't either, but if its brass, its okay.

I've haven't seen flutes, clarinets, or tubas in a jazz COMBO per se, but I have seen them in big bands. Some of the best live flute players I have seen doubled on tenor and alto sax in big bands, just saying bro

lol that doesn't matter. I don't crea how good the person is at an oboe. It would still sound like choking a goose. XD And squeaking on a clarinet while messing up rythms and notes just makes me mad. I mean, you can't have the music for over two months and screw it up so badly. XD And flutes... well, i think they'd be used better for lightning rods. >

for me, it's horn. Can't stand it. Even if it's played right it just doesn't fit my bill.
Though I really really hate keyboards. They're my most hated. Note: There is a big difference between a keyboard and a piano.

Okay, I still stand with my bass clarinet combo, but I also have to say, I don't like the sound of oboes, I know it's kind of betraying the woodwinds, but I just don't like how it sounds.

I would not listen to oboe on its own. I can't stand how it sounds unless it's with an ensemble, and even then it might not sound wonderous.
But a poorly played oboe or horn... *shivers*

I agree 100%! One of our oboes is absolutely AMAZING, but I still wouldn't really want to listen to him alone. One is okay, but i still wouldn't want to listen to her alone AT ALL and the other one is a newbie who JUST switched from flute, *shiver* it hurts my ears to think about it.

Oboe. When they are played well they sound fairly decent, but in general, NO
I'm going to say cowbell and bagpipes are my least favorite.
Cowbells are awesome! I have a really funny cowbell story we were at a competition and the one guy that always easedrops was listening to the judge behind him while playing cowbell. The judge said ok i could use a little more cowbell at this part then you hear as the guy goes and hits the cowbell as hard as possible! The judge was like just like that. it's all on a judges tape lol
