Yay! I am extremely excited for the Twilight movie. You're right, they are quite a bit different than I imagined. Especially because some of their hair colors are different. But I'm sure they'll dye them for the movie. I'm also excited that Robert Pattinson is playing Edward. I loved him as Cedric in Goblet of Fire. We'll just have to wait and see if all of the actors stay true to the characters...

ok so my opinions (haha): Bella: awesome Edward: ...not so great. Alice: Her with short hair fits perfectly Jasper: Awesome as well Emmett: Didn't picture him as a blonde....but that actor with brown hair would fit =D Rosalie: I pictured her more fair skinned and blonde for some reason. But I like this actress too. Esme: Perfect. Carlisle: Good depending on the pic you see. Victoria: Yes! Shes a redhead! haha goood. =] The last 4 I don't quite agree with...As I read all 3 books, everytime I read something about Jessica, I imagined Parminder Nagra for some reason. And the one they casted as James - I think he would be a better Edward =)
Overall though - i love the casting so far...makes me even more excited for the movie. haha. Edit: Any news on the next book?

Breaking Dawn is coming out on August 2nd!! I think you can already pre-order on Amazon. And Stephanie Meyer's other book, The Host, is coming out in May.

I think they should James and Carlisle. But if they dye Carlisle's hair and shave is beard, he looks really nice when we smiles. =]
I'm really worried about Rosalie though...I mean, when she was alive, she was beautiful. And back then, beauty was blonde hair, fair skin...this girl is Italian. Her skin is very olive.

I know!
I lovelovelove Jackson as Jasper. It was so funny, because that day that my friend found out that Rob was Edward, she called me and was all, "I really wanted Jackson to be Edward...but I suppose that they could cast him as Jasper instead." And then I was at her house when they announced that he was...she was FREAKING out. It was hilarious.

Did anyone have a similar idea about Jessica as I said earlier?

Hmmm..I looked her up, and she's not bad. The only specifications I had for Jessica is that she be short and have SUPER curly hair.

I always pictured Jessica as a short african-american with curly hair. Hmmm....sometimes I disregard the descriptions. Me and my friend always joke about who we would play if we were in the movie. The other day, I said "I could be Bella's stunt double for New Moon! Jump off that cliff..." haha

haha definitely. that sounds like fun =] I hope they don't screw up the coolest details. I have a feeling that I'm not gonna like it, but thats because I always end up comparing movies to closely to the books.

...Man, here I was, thinking this was a discussion of Sumerechniy Dozor (Twilight Watch), the third in Sergei's Lukyanenko's most excellent urban-fantasy Watch series. I see that I'm mistaken, and instead this has to do with some newfangled series I haven't heard of.
Man, I'm starting to feel old(er).
Well, might as well start acting the part.
*crotchety* Bah! You kids and your teeny-bopper Interview For the Vampire series- in my day, we had nothing but Anne Rice when it came to perpetually angsting vampires, and by golly, we liked it that way!

Okay, so me and my friends are dorks, right? So we made a Chris Crocker spoof about leaving the cast alone.
