Okay, so I've decided to play a solo on clarinet for a camp talent show. This will be my sixth year to go to this camp and I've never participated in the talent show and thought this year I would. The only problem is, I have no idea what to play. I want to play something kinda familiar, but not just familiar to band people familiar. I've been playing clarinet for four years and you could honestly say I play above my level but still, I don't want something too difficult. The camp starts June 27 but I would like to have a piece to work on and start practicing it within the next two weeks. Thanks!

If you have some sort of etude book, you should pick something for there. It doesn't have to be popular music or something that your audience will recognize, it can just be a particular classical piece you've been working on that you feel displays a comfortable amount of technicality. Have fun, don't feel pressured to do anything too hard, but don't be afraid to show off how good you are! Good luck!
