yeah I definitely found euph harder to hold than a contra. Also the euph I played was a dynasty. Balanced? not so much.

Holding baritone/euph is even harder if you have uniforms that restrain your shoulders.....you have to shake out your sleeves before putting it in playing position or you will be in a lot of additional pain.....I shouldn't be complaining. A 6 pound baritone isn't heavy at all. I wish my school had euphs.

dynasty euphs suck.........you should have been there when I brought the idea to my ego-ridden section leader that euph was harder, it got ugly. In the end he was like "well why don't you march contra in my spot?" . I said ok and did it, he lewft the field and went home, almost lost his leadership position. I was so happy.

bluescales. you only wish you had a euph until you played a euph.
Dynasty horns in general. *shiver* Atleast you only have to put one finger down for D's and G's, even if it is the 3rd. -.-
I'd rather march a contra than a euphonium any day. in actuality I can't due to some crazy back problems but the choice is clear in my mind.
