OMG that has got to be one saint of a horse to handle a crowd like that. And I don't even see any ear-plugs for him either.

I remember Arcadia HS has those indian headdresses back when I was in high school. Had to be a bear to keep clean.

Texas A&M has pretty weird-looking uniforms: Ahh... no. Texas A&M, as a military band, has military uniforms of a spectacular olive drab. My band's unis are modern but pretty normal. I can't get a pic now because our site is down... ach. Oh well.

Kinda SCV style, a little bit: ] Nah....more like a mix of Crossmen from a couple of years back and Revolution.

We have really normal uniforms... The only odd thing about them is the fact that in our band logo on the dm uniforms, there is a black treble clef on a black background ( ) But there is this town nearby us that we play at football games that was an important town in the revolutionary war, so they are dressed up as though they are in the revolutionary war, with the hats and everything... I forget their mascot, it was something like colonists or revolutionaries or something. EDIT: they are the colonials, i think... Something like this? www.demoulin.com/banduniforms/traditional.lassoI'm looking at T-3. Yeah, I haven't seen them in a while, but that pretty much sums it up.

my hs band uniforms are these: pretty average looking Fred J. Miller. here's a close-up of the same but green instead of red. we also got new white sashes and gauntlets instead of the silver. can't find any good pictures of KU, but their uniforms have interchangeable capes, sashes, etc. the drum major hats are big, white, buckingham palace guard hats with red and blue plumes. the marchers have regular black shakos. Your uniforms look so similar to mine! Just flipflop the red and the white and turn the silver into gold. And we have one white gauntlet on the white half.

yeah, i remember when we went to a competition a few years ago and there was a band that had pretty much the same uniforms as us, but according to our bd, they weren't the original fjm, but knock-offs. didn't know you could have knock-off band uniforms.

Last year, for our Japanese- themed field show, we were "samurai" and we wore black karate jackets, purple karate belts, and purple bandanna head bands. We called it "going ninja" and it was great fun.

This is our 3 year old uniforms that we bought off of ebay from texas. This is our uniforms my freshman year. My schools mascot is the Rebels, so they went really well I suppose. We had the bow tie, ruffles, cummerbund, and a really cool hat. When we got the new uniforms, i got to keep the hat and the jacket. The hat is hanging up on my wall. =] So I guess we don't really have strange outfits, I just wish we didn't have really old ones. And that we had cooler ones!

Except for the headgear, that resembles the Colts back in the 80s. And here are some corps unis fer ya... Suncoast Sound 1983 (anda yes, that IS a huge chunk out of his cymbal) SoCal Dream 2006 (that's me soloing). Used to be Southwind's, but we added the purple sash (LA....Lakers colors) Dagenham Crusaders 1986 (Drum Corps United Kingdom) Looks very BD like....because it was. Me again, on plates this time. Me as SoCal Dream DM in 04 And as DM in 03 And the greatest uni of all time...back when I had hair.

We have many uniforms and are considered strange since not only are we traditional and not corp, we have west point cadet style uniforms. Our Uniforms: Drumline (we have no pit. we can't carry it, we don't play it): Twirlers: Poms: Silks: Drum Major and Assistant Drum Major:

Thanks to them for knowing how to salute properly....so few get the hand placement correct.
DM on the left, fingers to the hinge of his glasses frame. On the right, to the corner of his eye...both with no cover.
if they had headgear like a shako, it goes to the brim above the corner of the eye.
