I have a Dr. Beat TU-80 Tuner and Metronome. I hate it. It's possessed. Like it will turn itself on while just sitting in my case, which is really annoying because of the Accu-Pitch. In the middle of Wind Ensemble one day, it turns on and I can hear the little "beep beep" it makes whenever a pitch ends. And whenever I put a complicated time sig and sub-division in the met, it will turn itself off just as I'm about to put it on the stand. I miss my Korg tuner and met.

I have to agree those things are quite scary. I have a Quik Tune chromatic tuner with a pitch pipe and a Quik Time metronome, neither of which is possesed thanks goodness.

I have the Korg tuner that everyone in the world seems to have, and a blue Dr. Beat metronome. I've always wished that they had sliding switches rather than buttons, though, because mine always seem to accidentally turn on during rehearsal!
I actually asked for them on my 13th birthday, how sad is that?

I have one up on that, for Christmas when I was 11 I got a trumpet case, music stand, and piano bench for Christmas. (I don't play much piano anymore but I still have the bench and my keyboard, which I got for Christmas when I was nine, and I don't play trumpet much anymore. I'm tuba.) I was so excited.
The next year (I was 12 ish I think) I earned some money and bought a metronome and paid for my trumpet to go to the shop myself.
Ya. I've always been obbsessed with band.
I got my tuner this year for Christmas, along with the Tuba Cocnerto sheet music for Tuba and Piano (My mom was confused when she saw a few sheets of papers cost $15.00. I'm the only music person in my family.)
