Definitely. And I seriously think that it is easier to march than the trumpet was, because there really isn't a horn angle or anything to worry about. . . Anyway, yes. I am very happy where I am right now. And thanks for talking to me. = ]

Alrighty, I did this. I was a trumpet player that switched to a tuba. No worries, if you plan on playing both, be sure to get used to the tuba embrochure first. Cause, switching between the two constantly back and forth isn't going to work. Your sound on both trumpet and tuba arent' going to sound as good. What you're going to want to do is learn the tuba for a year or two. Then, once you did that, go back down slowly, play beritone for a couple months. Then after that, you can go back to trumpet with ease. Your sound on tuba and trumpet shouldn't be affected THAT much. But this was something I concluded, after of course, trying it. It worked for me, so try it.
Best of luck to you my fellow tuba player.

I actually don't plan to go back now. I just sound better on the lower register and I have a lot more fun playing it. I may change my mind in a year or so, but I don't think so. I just have so much more fun!!
Thanks, though. I really enjoy it.
