yeah the music is the combined Magical Mystery Tour/Hard Days Night but we just play about 2 lines of Hard Day's Night after Eleanor Rigby and then it's Can't Buy Me Love, which has a bit of Magical Mystery Tour at the end.

We're doing a total of 4 shows I think this year. I don't have the official list handy, but what I remember... - "Southern Rock": Proud Mary, Train,Train, and Free Bird - "Movie Show" (Creative title, huh?): Back to the Future, The Incredits, Bohemian Rhapsody - "Latin Show": Malaga, TBA ( ), El Toro Caliente I think there's one more, but it seemed really weird and included a bunch of random stuff, like Phantom of the Opera, and the Scooby-Doo and Ghostbusters themes... Honestly I'm not terribly thrilled with the shows this year. Hopefully our new director will do a bit better his second year...

Our marching band show at my college this year is Shostakovich. It's pretty intense. The first movement is Festive Overture. I dunno what the rest is.

^ We did a Beatles show last year too. We did the combined version of Magical Mystery Tour/Hard Day's Night, then Yesterday, I Want to Hold Your Hand, and closed with Hey Jude. I have the feeling I've posted this already... hmm. .......

Ballet Suite 4 is our intro and "outro." it's awesome. It's seems like like a lot of people are marching Festive Overture this year, too. Blue Knights played it and so did some other drum corps...

we did "Grammy Winners" for our show this year. the opener was Viva La Vida (i already hated the song in the first place, now i hate it more. lol.), Africa, and You Can Call Me Al. but then we did something different this year and we marched different drill pretty much every week. So some other stuff we performed was Funkytown, Maniac (i liked this song), Eye of the Tiger (as a standstill) and we did a stand tune one time as a standstill at our last game.

So... finally the report on what our show was... You Know My Name: Music from the James Bond Film Series including: 1. Goldfinger and Theme form Dr. No (that's the one everyone knows) 2. Tomorrow Never Dies/ Die Another Day (this was a DL feature) 3. From Russia with Love (the ballad) 4. You Know my Name I wound up marching bass, because I'm that awesome. Took two instruments to every game, because I played Bb in the stands. And now for the best part... after 2 years of wallowing in mediocrity, my band... finally got... wait for it... A FIRST DIVISION AT UIL! (our most important marching contest) Yay! I bet you want a video... here. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiqYaBWo0vU&feature=channel
