friend went into a porta-potty behind the student section in the stadium during a monday night rehearsal. a porta-potty that hadn't been drained after the game. my friend managed to get crap from the porta-potty (i.e. human feces) on her shirt.
during marching band class in school a couple weeks ago, they were draining the porta-potties. worst thing i've ever smelled in the entire world.

did the audience notice the random screaming musician? It was just a dress rehearsal. At the end of the act the director did come back to find out what happened, haha.

In seventh grade band, there was this guy in my section who hadn't changed his reed all year. Our director caught wind of this, took it, and showed the class. It was black, moldy, and sooo gross. I chewed him out pretty bad, since I was first chair in middle school both years...but I digress. The point is, I bought him a new reed and he was always careful to change his reeds periodically.

^I would imagine so. Someone threw up today all over someone's back. Pretty nasty. Especially becuasr the band room smelled like nasty popcorn? I don't know, don't ask. ;;

In middle school we were watching a movie called "Amadeus" in band, and there's a slightly gory part at the beginning where it shows a guy trying to slit his own throat and is all bloody and stuff (and it's unexpected too). Well there's this tuba player who gets queasy very easily, and when he saw that, a few minutes later he threw up all over the CARPETED band room floor. It smelled in there for the next few days....

This was either my sophomore or junior year of marching band.
The band played at all the home football games, so it went something like, woodwinds on the lower rows, trumpets and mellos the next couple of rows, trombones above us, and then the rest in the back.
Well, I was sitting in the trumpet row, in front of one trombone player we called Deuce. He plays hard and accumulates a LOT of spit in the process.
Well this day he decided to empty his spit, but because it was so full he detached his slide (It was almost completely full.) He then dumped it out without looking where he was doing that. Straight onto my head. It was the most disgusting thing ever.
(Probably not as disgusting as getting barf on your back, though.)

Someone....pooped.....in the band hallway. No one knows who or when, but it smelled for a month even after they cleaned it up.

Before practice one day a few months ago, me and a few friends were walking around the band hallway and we walked past the bathrooms and it smelled REALLY bad, coming from the guys bathroom. We managed to get one of the guys that was with us to go in there and check it out, and he comes out and says "Either somebody puked or had really bad diarrhea in the urinal...." Bleh. He said it was still there the next day.....

Last summer, one of the guys in the euphonium line played hard. Like HARD. he was a loudmf and would bleed from playing so loud. Atleast once every 2 weeks, he would turn and say "look" and sure enough there was blood in his mouthpiece.

One time I was cleaning out the woodwind room. I went through an old cass that looked like a clarinet so I opened it. (I am a clarinet) It smelled really bad before I even opened it and it had dust all over it. I opened it and found the clarinet full with mold. There was dust and green mold and red mold inside an out. The reed was still on it and it was brown and green. I asked my friend and asked how long it was here and she said for around 7 years. It was the most horrifying thing i have ever seen.
