What's your favorite show from DCI?
I love the Santa Clara Vangaurd from '89. It has to be my all time favorite.

I've only been to the DCI west finals this year so I don't have much to choose from, but I really liked Phantom Regiment's show. It was amazing. Blue Devils C this year was really cute too.

i don't think i've ever come across a "bad" show, but i have to say my favorite show of all time has to be Madison Scouts sometime in the early 90's when they did the pirate show. one of my coaches was in a sword fight and got to walk around in a drunken stupor.

Where to start.... Ummm. '89 santa clara is incredible. '88 santa clara is almost the same show, but didn't do as well. '03 phantom is just an awesome show. The reprise is chilling '04 phantom company front of Adios Nonino is bone chilling '07 phantom is just really cool. Philip glass and Firebird.... cmon. then to jazz run it? '02 cavaliers Incredible show. '04 crown. Bohemia. excellent show '08 crown. well then. Everyone knows about this show. '00 Boston Cru. Loved the singing. it fit so perfectley (and now to the part which shall be debated) '03 cadets flowed so well. '05 cadets. flowed well (you'll get the joke if you know the show) '07 cadets. Minus the talking this was an incredible show. That trumpet part with the double tonguing was relentless. '08 cadets. Without the constant talking about nonsense. That hornline was incredible. The volume and intesity at which they played was awe inspiring. '03 BD. It was mostly in 5. And then to close with take five. fawesome. That's the almost complete list of my favorite shows.

Did you march cadets? or were you commenting on the talking comment? or the hornline comment?

yeah, one of our other graduated seniors marched phantom. her sock tan isn't quite as bad as the girl in blue stars, but her brown hair is almost blond.

Yep, I wore Maroon and Gold this summer. Incredible. That's truely awesome. And you have endured the Gino. He's an awesome guy and knows exactley what he's doing. But I give respect to your hornline for working with him all summer. I can only imagine what those days are like. But I love the cadets hornline. SOOOO loud, it's almost not humanly possible, but you do it. And I loved the show this year, like I said, minus the gibberish and whatnot. Even though it doesn't fit my taste in drum corps, I thought the hornline was astounding every time they played. Maybe this year Hop will let you guys open up and go nuts.
