We have two busses and a trailer for uniforms and the drumline cart. For short parades, it's pretty much equally split. For long trips, it turns into party/upperclassmen bus and quiet/underclassmen bus because we sign up by grade.

^Yeah, I go to samthedred's school. Our buses never split by section. It just doesn't happen. It tends to split more upperclassmen/underclassmen like samthered mentioned, but my grade just had to be different; we're juniors, but we ride the rookie bus. In the end, it pretty much means we run the rookie bus, own the rookies, and befriend them as necessary. I like the way we ride. I can't imagine if my dl buddies rode a different bus, or if guard did... Unlike tubachick11, I think I'd die if we did separate!

We have 5 buses (used to be 6) and 2 equipment haulers: the "enterprise rent- a- truck" which holds DL stuff, water, and hats, and the "trailer", which was stolen during SLT camp... dunno what to do about that- this holds the pit stuff and drum major ladders/ stands.

My sons' band uses three buses and a truck. Students are not assigned buses but usually end up in the same place. Bus 3 mainly drummers and their friends. It is the most fun bus and at times will break out in random songs See this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5wV8P9E774

We got three buses if we were lucky, two if we weren't. One if the school district was ticked at us for some reason.
We never really had "section buses." There are times when the flags or tubas ended up on the same bus, but it's more coincidence than anything, considering how many there are. I think drumline is supposed to stay on the same bus, but no one will hunt them down if they ride somewhere else.

We have five busses. The first bus is the drumline bus (as well as the sousaphone storage bus) and the rest of the busses have who ever signed up for that bus in it. I'm on bus 5 - lots of freshman and sophomores on it, but it is actually the bus that has the least people. We are the loudest, though. Bus four has mostly upperclassman, I believe at least 2 of the drum majors and the entire bassline are on it. Busses two and three are everyone else, I'm not sure if there's any big speciallties to either of them. I belive guard is distrubuted through all the busses (none of them are on my bus though, so I can't be sure).
We also have a uhaul for pit instruments, color guard flags, and drum major podiums.

We typically have four random buses. They *try* to put the percussion on one bus, as they do guard, but it never really works. xD

We have 3 mixed busses. But they aren't allowed to have their drum sticks on the bus. = ] I would likely die if they could. x.x
