our band director is like really and thinking that we shouldn't this show called bon jovi and i love it anyone else who had heard of it tell me what you think of the show

Bon Jovi has lots of good songs. It'd probably be good for a field show.

Oh, I saw that in a catalogue today. Tell him to do the eagles one- that was a really good mix. Or do Bon Jovi. That wasn't bad either.

No, ours is like that, too. He makes a point of never playing traditional music for halftime shows, not in the entire time he's been at our school.
Bon Jovi's okay, but the only song of his I like is "Livin on a Prayer". Aerosmith would make for a better show.

Bon Jovi, at least in Ohio, is SO OVERPLAYED, no offense. Hopefully your band director can pull off some incredible props or drill to make it interesting. Though that probably only counts in the ways of a competition band. The songs on their own are fun and entertaining enough, though!
All I know is that I went to a band festival with the Marching 110, and there three bands there of about 9 that played "Livin' On a Prayer." Ugh.
