Welcome to the Pit Corner, its a corner since we're usually put off in the corner away from the rest of the perc section. So talk anything pit!

It burns me up how everyone always ignores the pit. We have feelings too...*sniff*

This is my third year of playing pit. My BD actually let me take the vibes for the summer. Last year I had a marimba, but it is getting re-framed.

Hello fellow pit people! This is bumping an old thread, but the discussion's still relevant right? Anyway, I'm in pit again this year. Last year our pit was more or less ignored. It was a rare occurance to do anything for more than about 10 minutes, usually less, during drumline sectionals and we never got to play any stands tunes. Hopefully this year things will be better. Hopefully because most of the pit knows what there doing, things will get better.
