I think we had around 70 people in the school band this year. Considering there are only 800-something students in the entire high school, it's a pretty good band:school ratio. Also, our incoming freshman class is about the same size of the leaving senior class, so we should be good on next year, too.

At last notice, with the freshman, winds, and percussion included, we have 195. We are the biggest organization at our school (student population around 2500 to 3000,I think) So not too shabby...

Last year we had around 350, the second largest marching band in the state. We're a bit smaller this year since they built another HS and sent some of our members there. Maybe 300ish. It will continue dropping since next year's graduating class is the biggest so far; there will be over 900 seniors next year. I think band is the largest student organization in my school. We are definitely the most decorated.

this year is our worst so far in 4 years... concert band = 2 clarinet 2 flutes 1 tenor sax 1alto (out other one just left) 2 and 1/2 trumpets (one hardly shows) 1 trombone 1bass 3 percussionists
jazz band = 2 altos 1 tenor 2and 1/2 trumpets 1 tombone 1bass 1guitar and around 2 drummers
so in all we have 14 1/2 people....and 2 have only joined this term

well this year it was 250 ppl, but a lot of our seniors left but i think more freshman are coming than seniors are leaving, so we will probably have a little more than 250. :]

Our band's bigger this year!! Last year the roster had about 145 people on it. This year, we have 165, but there are people that we know for a FACT are in band that aren't even on the roster! So, we'll prolly have at least 170!

okay....after the first week of band camp we officially have 133 people...smaller than last year... but we had the opener's drill down after 4 days of camp. and we're marching and playing and the rookies are doing super! they really are trying...and are extremely focused. it's probably the best bunch of rookies we've had in a while. A good bit of 'em are marching and playing already. Sorry this really off topic, but i am so proud of them...i have never seen a bunch of new folks so focused and into rehearsal. It makes me really happy!! We have a small band...but the people in it are absolutely amazing. it's going to be an AWESOME year

last year i think we had 140 (one of the smallest in the area) and we jost lost a huge senior class and now have about 100. I partly blame it on our new middle school director. Hes SCARING everyone away!

Last year my high school band had around 100 people in it (including colorguard) which is small considering that our school has around 3000 students in it. I'm guessing that it'll be around that size this year as well. My college band had about 50 people in it last year, so it may be around that this year.

I' ll compare this year to last year. 1 drum major (1 drum major) *flute piccolo 4 piccolos (1 piccolo 4 flutes) 3 clarinets (13 Clarints ) 2 alto sax (2 alto sax) 6 trumpets at the moment (6 trumpets) 3 mellos (4 mellos 1 was a Bb horn) 2 Trombones (2 trombones) 2 baritones (2 baritones) 3 tubas (3 tubas) 10 percussion (5 percussion) 23 Dance line (17 Dance line) This year We didn't move our beginners up, except percussion. One flute from last year moved schools. Trumets, even though the number stayed the same, one moved to dance line and one had to drop it because of health reasons. Well we had one trumpet that came late and couldn't march last year, and the Bb horn in the mello section was converted to trumpet this year. We had 1 tenor sax last year, but he's in percussion now. Now to the Clarinets... 2 graduated. 2 moved schools 2 quit (one for a relative that's not doing well and one voluntarily) 4 made dance line. Seniors this year are 1 drum major/flute/ piccolo 1 trombone 2 tubas 1 percussion 1ish dance line.
