O.M.G.
we played Pachelbel's Canon in 7th grade... for the ENTIRE YEAR!! I'm not even joking! it was the first piece we got... we played it for the Christmas Concert. then we played it for festival. then after festival our bd made a remix out of it. then we played the remix for forever and then played the remix at our Spring Concert. then we played Pachelbel's Canon for the chamber winds thing, and I had the piccolo part, which was the same thing over and over and over again... I almost went insane. I'm definitely putting that video on my MySpace. because it's so true.

Omg, I love that video. It's hilarious, because it's true. But really, I love that song. I got the piano sheet music for it yesterday morning, and now I can officially play it on seven instruments. I love that song. Especially this version : www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qtF2DCGgIE

Oh my G-d. That has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. And it was freaky, because when you think about it those songs DO sound like Pachabel's cannon. Wow. (and most punk rock does sound oddly the same). What's next for him, Pomp & Circumstance? Ugh. I love Elgar, but that song...

I hate Pachelbel's Canon as well. HATE HATE HATE In fact, I hate it so much, that I requested that our organist/pianist NOT play it at our wedding. She laughed because she said, "Most people come in requesting specific songs, and you come in saying NOT to play certain songs!"
