He puts a lot of the trumpets from my high school to shame. (and they're all in ninth and tenth grade, playing for about five years) Hell the kid can even read key signatures! Half our band still can't do that! He's such a cutie too! (Mary Had a Little Lamb is for babies!) I hope he sticks with his music.

Heck...I can bairly read the stinking key signatures...but that's cause i'm a lazy child who should be locked in the band room for a week or two and forced to learn how to do basic band stuff...

*ahem* not meaning to boast or anything but hes at the same level in playing as me and ive been playing 4 about only a yr im mean WOW the fact that hes four blows u away but think about it if u started teaching ur 3 yr old kid who has a passion 4 say sax and then start teaching a 15yr old with the sam amount ov passion there gonna end up being at roughly the same level what i find amazing is that a 4 yr old is motivated enough to do that kind ov thing and to practise and that he has the chops at that age to play like that. i think he rox i want my kid to be like that my brother tryid to stary at about 4....but he found it too hard. It's amazing what a 4 year old will do if they know that they can and if people enjoy it enough.

Woah... When I go to my brass tech class on Tuesday and have to play trumpet (and music "for babies" as that four year old put it) I will have to ask my instructor if she's heard about this kid. Her youngest students are twice his age. I hadn't heard of there being musical prodigys that young except for piano and strings before this.

I wish I started playing flute at 4 instead of 10 when I actually started...I played piano (and then only a few basic kid songs) when I was his age.
